Today is Guru Pūrṇimā – a beautiful day in the yogic tradition dedicated to honouring our teachers and all those who have helped guide us along the way.

The word guru simply means “one who brings light to the darkness.” A guru doesn’t have to be a spiritual teacher. They can be anyone who has helped us see more clearly, challenged us to grow, encouraged us to keep going, or reminded us of who we truly are.

Each Guru Pūrṇimā is unique, carrying its own energy through the rhythms of the moon and the cosmos. For me, it is always a moment to pause, reflect and offer heartfelt gratitude.

Today, I simply want to say thank you to my teachers. Thank you for your wisdom, your guidance, your patience and your generosity. Everything I share with my students today has, in some way, been passed down to me by those who came before me, and for that I am endlessly grateful. Laura Gilmore Tias & Surya Little 𝐁.𝐊.𝐒 𝐈𝐲𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐫 Sally Anna Ashby Jeff Phenix Yoga

And to my students… thank you.

Each of you is walking your own unique path, moving through life’s challenges and receiving life’s blessings in your own way. It is a privilege to witness your journeys and an honour to hold space for your practice.

One of the most beautiful things about yoga is that its wisdom has been passed from teacher to student for thousands of years. To now share, in my own way, even a small part of what was so generously given to me is something I will never stop being grateful for.

May we all continue to be lifelong students, staying curious, open-hearted and willing to learn, not only from our teachers, but from life itself.

And may this full moon remind us that the greatest teacher we will ever know is the wisdom that already exists within us. Yoga simply helps us remember.

Happy Guru Pūrṇimā. 🌕🙏

As the light begins to soften and the long days of summer draw to a close, nature invites us to do the same.

The Autumn Equinox is a beautiful threshold. A moment suspended between seasons. A time to pause, reflect on all that has grown, give thanks for the abundance of the summer months, and gently prepare for the quieter rhythm that lies ahead.

✨ Join me on Saturday 19th September Cowslip Meadows - Leicestershire | Rural Retreat for a full day dedicated entirely to you.

A chance to step away from the constant doing and immerse yourself in practices that nourish your body, calm your mind and reconnect you with yourself.

Together we’ll explore a beautiful blend of wellness practices including:

🍂 Gentle yoga
🍂 Breathwork & meditation
🍂 Deep restorative yoga
🍂 Sound healing
🍂 Seasonal rituals and reflection
🍂 Nourishing, locally sourced food celebrating the autumn harvest

We’re also planning to gather around the fire, embracing its symbolism of transformation, release and inner illumination. As we say goodbye to the expansive energy of summer, the fire offers a space to let go of what no longer serves us and create intention for the season ahead. There may even be a heart-opening cacao ceremony to deepen this experience.

This isn’t about escaping your life.

It’s about returning to it feeling rested, grounded and deeply connected to yourself.

A day to tend to your nervous system.
A day to honour the changing seasons.
A day to remember what it feels like to simply be.

✨ I’ve also extended the Early Bird offer until 10th July, so if you’ve been thinking about joining us, now is the perfect time to book your place.

I would absolutely love to welcome you.

✨ What if you gave yourself permission to truly pause this Autumn?

There is something magical about the Autumn Equinox.

For one brief moment, day and night exist in perfect balance before nature gently begins to slow, inviting us to do the same.
Yet so often, instead of honouring this seasonal shift, we keep pushing forwards.

My Autumn Equinox Retreat is an invitation to pause. To spend a day away from the noise of everyday life, nourishing your body with delicious seasonal food, calming your nervous system and reconnecting with yourself through yoga, breathwork, deep rest and beautiful company.

These retreat days are always incredibly special. A chance to immerse yourself more deeply in your practice than a weekly class allows, leaving you feeling lighter, calmer and ready to step into the new season with intention.

🍂 Saturday 19th September

A little confession… I’ve been so busy lately that I’ve done a terrible job of talking about this retreat! So I’ve decided to extend the Early Bird price for one more week, until 10th July, to give you the opportunity to book with a discount!
If you’ve been thinking about joining us, I’d love to welcome you. 🤍

This photo always makes me smile. 🤍

It takes me right back to the early days of my yoga journey, when my son Beau would happily wander onto my mat and join in with whatever I was practising.

This year marks 10 years since I began my yoga teacher training, and it’s hard to believe how much has changed since those very first classes above The Dance Shop on St Mary’s Road in Market Harborough.

Some of you have been with me from the very beginning. You’ve watched my classes grow, my children grow, and you’ve been part of this journey every step of the way. I’ll never stop being grateful for that.

Over the next couple of weeks my timetable is going to look a little different as Beau reaches the end of his primary school journey. There are transition evenings, performances and all those special “lasts” that come before a new chapter begins. They are moments I know I’ll never get back, so I’m doing my best to be there for them while still keeping as many classes running as possible.

If you’re planning to come to class over the next week or two, I’d really appreciate it if you could have a look at the updated timetable and book on as early as you can. It really helps me know which classes people are hoping to attend, especially while I’m moving a few things around.

Thank you, as always, for your patience, your understanding and your continued support. Running a small business alongside family life is only possible because of this wonderful community, and I feel incredibly lucky to have you all.

See you on the mat soon. 🤍

🌿 New 5-Week Beginners Yoga Course 🌿

If you’ve ever thought “I’m not flexible enough”, “I don’t know where to start” or “yoga just isn’t for me” this course is for you.

This 5-week beginners course is a gentle, supportive introduction to yoga, designed to help you feel confident, comfortable and at ease in your body. Each week we’ll move slowly, build understanding, and explore the foundations of yoga in a way that feels accessible and inclusive.

🗓 Wednesdays | 6–7pm
📍 25th February – 25th March

You’ll be guided by an experienced and encouraging teacher, in a space where you can ask questions, take your time, and know you’re in safe hands. There’s no pressure to perform, no expectation to look a certain way, just space to learn, breathe and move in a way that works for you.

✨ Benefits you might notice:
• improved mobility, strength and flexibility
• reduced stress and anxiety
• better awareness of your body and breath
• feeling calmer, more grounded and more at home in yourself

Yoga truly is for every body, regardless of age, experience, fitness level or flexibility. You don’t need to be able to touch your toes. You just need to be curious enough to begin.

If you’ve been waiting for the right moment to start, this is your invitation 🤍
Spaces are limited, booking details in my bio.

I don’t want this retreat to be an escape.
I want it to be a gentle return, to your body, your breath, your clarity… to the parts of you that get quiet when life gets loud. 🍁✨

This October, we’re heading to Perast, Montenegro, an often overlooked gem with outstanding natural beauty, mountains rising straight from the bay, and the most soul-soothing stillness.

Here, we’ll immerse ourselves in daily yoga (morning + evening), guided walks with local experts (nature, views, stories), and slow afternoons to do exactly what you need, salt-water swims, reading by the pool, wandering the town, resting.

Small, boutique group (limited rooms) so it stays intimate and deeply held.

This retreat has been a long time coming.

I’ve spent years searching for the right place and the right offering, something that allows us to truly slow down and immerse ourselves in the outstanding natural beauty all around us, while also deepening our individual yoga and mindfulness practices.

This week in Montenegro is about presence.
About giving yourself time to notice, to breathe it all in, and to feel supported by both the land and the practice.

Each day we’ll come to the mat morning and evening, drawing on our senses through mindful, nourishing yoga that supports both movement and rest. During the day, we’ll be guided by two local walking guides, who will take us on beautiful journeys through the region — not only into its breathtaking landscapes, but also into its complex and fascinating history.

Afternoons are intentionally left open. Time to relax by the saltwater pool, read a book, swim, journal, or simply be — choosing exactly what you need.

This is a boutique retreat with limited spaces, so we can keep the experience intimate, spacious, and comfortable.

✨ More information on the schedule and room availability is available via my link in bio.
✨ Non-yoga partners are warmly welcome.

I truly hope you can join me for this very special week.

Happy New Year ✨🤍

As we begin this new year, we do so under the light of the first Full Moon of the year, a moment that invites reflection, release, and clarity.

This is a reminder that New Year intentions do not need to be rushed or forced. There is no requirement to begin perfectly, or to wait until you feel a certain way before you start.

Beginning matters.

But it doesn’t have to be big, dramatic, or demanding.

Often, real and lasting change begins softly, through small, kind steps and gentle consistency.

This week in class, I invite you to move with patience and compassion, setting intentions that feel supportive rather than pressurised. We’ll explore practices that support nervous system health and regulation, alongside gentle mobility work and steady strength-building for both body and mind.

You are warmly welcome to come exactly as you are.

Even if you’ve been away from practice for a long time.

Even if your body feels stiff, tired, or out of rhythm.

Join me this week to start something that supports your growth in body, mind, and spirit, and helps you build a practice that truly serves you in the year ahead.

I’d love to welcome you back onto the mat.

Be true to you,

Kerry ✨🙏🥰🫶🏻

I’m so looking forward to my Power of Pause afternoon this Saturday… a whole space dedicated to rest, nervous system nourishment, and finding our way out of the mud and back into ourselves.

If you’ve been feeling the weight of things too, you’re so welcome to join me.
Together we’ll explore supportive practices, gentle release, and deep restoration.
