Happy Birthday Sir David Attenborough! 🌳💚

Today we celebrate 100 years of the incredible Sir David Attenborough — a man who has spent a lifetime helping us see the beauty, wonder, and fragility of our planet. 🌍💚

Through forests, oceans, deserts, and jungles, he has reminded us that nature is not separate from us, we are part of it. Every tree planted, every flower blooming, every insect pollinating, and every small act of care for the Earth matters. 🌳🌷🌸🐋🦧

His voice, a voice you recognise instantly, has inspired generations to slow down, look closer, and reconnect with the natural world around them. In a fast-moving world, nature continues to teach us patience, resilience, healing, and hope.

As we honour his 100th birthday, may we also honour the planet he has spent his life protecting. 💚

For every client who completes their journey with me, a tree is donated and planted in my woodland.

This isn’t just a gesture — it’s a legacy.

Inspirational journey from mental health struggles to fulfilling a dream. You can do it too!

Strength is about so much more than what we can lift physically 💪

11 years ago, Ryan began training to support his mental health, wellbeing, and overall fitness. What started as a personal journey became a passion, and from June 2023 he began stepping into competitions to challenge his own limits and push beyond what he thought was possible.
Inspired by those around him, Ryan continued to test himself at higher levels — leading to qualification for some incredible events including:

🏋️ Powerlifting Games
🏋️ Arnold Sports Festival
🏋️ World Championships

What stands out most is not only the dedication and discipline Ryan shows within the sport, but the way powerlifting has supported him through difficult times and continues to positively impact his mental health.
At 4 Seasons Therapeutic Services, we know movement, purpose, community, and self-belief can play such an important role in emotional wellbeing. Ryan’s journey is a reminder that strength can be built both mentally and physically, one step, one challenge, and one achievement at a time.

Hi all 👋

Are you feeling Mind FULL… or Mindful?

I work with so many wonderful people, many struggle with the fullness of life because it's not all fun.

Sometimes our minds become full of everything at once:
🧠 worries
📱 notifications
📋 to-do lists
💭 “what ifs”
❤️ emotions we haven’t had time to process

It’s heavy. It’s loud. It’s exhausting.
But being mindful isn’t about getting rid of all of that.
It’s about gently choosing what we give our attention to 💚

🧠 Mind FULL says:
“I have too much going on.”

💚 Mindful says:
“I will focus on what helps me right now.”

When we shift towards mindfulness, we begin to:
• Breathe a little slower
• Feel more grounded in our body
• Notice what we actually need
• Respond instead of react
• Create small moments of calm in busy days

😊 Mindfulness can look like:
A quiet walk
Fresh air on your face
Taking a photo of something that catches your eye
Sitting with a warm drink
Pausing… just for a moment
You don’t need to fix everything.
You just need to come back to now.

Ask yourself:
“What would support me in this moment?”
"What would help me right now?"

Parenting is hard at times, this may help a little 💚

Some days parenting feels calm and connected. Other days it feels loud, messy, and overwhelming. If you’ve ever felt your frustration rising, you are not a bad parent — you are a human one.

Children don’t need perfect adults. They need adults who notice their feelings, take responsibility for their reactions, and show that big emotions can be handled safely. That’s how regulation is really taught.

The goal isn’t to never feel frustrated. The goal is to model what to do when we are. Pause. Breathe. Name it. Repair if needed. These moments quietly shape how a child learns to handle their own storms.

Life is not straight forward and there can be many twists and turns along the way. Therapy is the same, we slowly work through things at your pace. We walk or ride the journey together.

The biggest step is starting. It doesn't mean you are broken, weak, incapable or more, it means quite the opposite. If you are ready for change, reach out and give it a go.
