Just want to take a moment or two to give a big shout out to our amazing team of volunteers 🙋‍♀️ 👏 both past and present this Volunteers Week!

Just like a rainbow 🌈 on a stormy day, they bring light, compassion & caring hearts to listen to our guests; there's laughter (& some tears!), Uno skills, crafting knowledge - and endless cuppas to each and every Monday.

You are stars 🌟 every one of you; you've made this Night Light Cafe a Community and the fabulous place of support it is today. THANK YOU!! 😊 🙌👏🥰

Hmm, this is definitely me!!

We're open tonight 6pm to 9pm for anyone finding life difficult. We can listen, signpost and support you as you take steps towards better mental health.

We're a non-clinical out-of-hours service funded by NHS; you can find us at Church Rooms, Marketplace every Monday!

🙋‍♂️Hands up who's guilty of this one? We are😆

These are exactly the times we need to talk to someone else. A fresh perspective will always help. Night Light cafés are open every evening and are free to attend: just drop in, grab a cuppa and have a chat.

Just a reminder for anyone on certain meds or with certain conditions to take extra care in this heat 🥵

It may be Bank Holiday Monday, but we are OPEN tonight in the Church Rooms on the Marketplace 6pm to 9pm as usual; we'll have some cold treats available and a powerful fan to help keep us cool!

We are OPEN tonight!

This week is Mental Health Awareness Week; this year's theme is "Take Action".

Maybe this is the little push of encouragement you've been waiting for to take a positive step towards improving your mental wellbeing. Maybe come and try us out?

We meet every Monday 6pm to 9pm at St Thomas's Church Rooms on the Marketplace. Everyone 18+ is welcome, from any background, who is finding life tough right now.

Mindful activities, cards, jigsaws, books, puzzle books, crafts (you're welcome to bring your own too!) and free refreshments. You'll be welcomed by trained volunteers who will listen and signpost you to further support if appropriate, or just simply be alongside you.
