Phlebotomy Walk-in Clinic
Polite Notice:
We have recently experienced a number of issues during the opening of our phlebotomy walk-in clinic.
This has included patients running down the corridor when the doors open and disagreements over the numbered tickets used to manage the queue.
We kindly ask all patients to remain patient and respectful when attending the clinic. Please do not push, run or argue over queue numbers and attempt to be seen sooner. This behaviour is unfair to both other patients and our phlebotomists, who should not have to manage disputes while providing care.
We are committed to continuing our walk-in service as it is the most effective way for us to maximise the number of blood tests we can perform each week. However, if these issues continue, we may need to review the current system and consider alternative arrangements.
Thank you for your cooperation and for treating our staff and fellow patients with courtesy and respect at all times.

Thank you
Tracy Dewhurst
Practice Manager

Our practice team come from many different backgrounds and they are here to provide you with the best possible care. Please avoid asking staff members where they are "really" from or about their ethnicity or nationality, as these comments are making staff feel uncomfortable.

Thank you for treating everyone with kindness, dignity and respect.

I would like to thank all of the Dispensary team for all of your efforts in helping Boots' dispensing patients with their medication requests - whilst Boots had to temporarily close due to unforeseen circumstances. Everyone pulled together and worked really hard to ensure patients didn't go without their medication. Well done everyone!
