Reflexology for supporting menopausal women.

Lowering stress levels can reduce menopausal symptoms - why not see how the deep relaxation from Reflexology makes you feel!

Congratulations to Emma Dean, the latest reflexologist to successfully complete the Reflexology for Menopause advanced CPD training. This has given her additional knowledge and skills so she is able to support women through menopause.

I am so pleased she found the training helpful and this is what she had to say about the course - “I found this online course so enjoyable and informative. Easy to follow at your own pace with an extremely helpful practical conducted via zoom. I’ve learnt some great techniques which I’m enjoying sharing with my clients and supporting them through menopause. Thank you, Sally!”.

3 HAY FEVER TIPS FOR SUMMER
By Ziggie Bergman (Facial Reflexology Expert)

1. Facial Reflexology can improve symptoms quickly, just follow the instruction on the chart. For home use, you can try it out and apply techniques using the back of a teaspoons. Slide it from the center outwards after applying a few drops of facial oil, and keep it in the fridge before use. The cold calms inflammation and irritation and reduces any puffiness. When applying these the techniques professionally I recommend using stainless steel mushroom gua sha, as they hold the cold and are surgical grade and hypoallergenic.

2. Turmeric and its chemical compound Curcumin has been scientifically proven to reduce inflammation. It can directly target inflammation, which is why it’s recommended for Hay Fever by blocking pro-inflamaitory signalling molecules such as nuclear factor kappa B (NF-Kb) and interleukin 8 (IL-8).

3. Take a teaspoon of Local Honey during Hay Fever season and for a month or two before each season. If you ingest the pollens that trigger Hay Fever, it is believed you can build up immunity.
