What a privilege to be part of the Little Marlow Fete this Bank Holiday Weekend, a lovely end to our Summer and a great treat for our residents too. Short minibus journey from Cliveden Manor to take in the fun atmosphere of what the fete had to offer. Certainly a family occasion with entertainment for all including a dog show, tug of war for adults and children, the Fire and Rescue Team from Beaconsfield, Bourne End and Cookham Rotary Club treated us to a tractor trailer tour of the grounds, tombola with prizes for all, refreshments to keep us all going and lots of laughter all under lovely blue sky. ☀️

We’ll be at the Little Marlow Village Fete on Bank Holiday Monday afternoon, 25th August, and it would be lovely to see you! Come along, say hello, and perhaps enjoy a few treats with us along the way. 🍰☕

🌟 A Wonderful Morning of Community, Learning & Fun! 🌟
We were delighted and privileged to welcome Claire Street, Managing Director of Child Matters and a Paediatric Nurse, who joined the mums and toddlers visiting us from Little Saints Group. 💕👶
It was a lovely morning filled with laughter, stories and connection as the mums spent time chatting with our residents. 🥰

Claire also gave some invaluable demonstrations on CPR, life support and choking first aid, helping everyone feel more confident about responding in an emergency. ❤️‍🩹
Meanwhile, the little ones had a fantastic time playing with new toys, making friends and exploring, while their mums had the chance to take a well-deserved moment to relax and enjoy some company. 🧸☕️
Thank you to everyone who joined us and made the morning so special. We’re already looking forward to welcoming you all back next month! 💐

🌞 July roundup and what a glorious summer so far!
July has treated us to the very best of summer, with sunshine pouring into the garden and plenty of opportunities to enjoy it. Our newly delivered garden furniture arrived just in time, and residents wasted no time giving it a proper test - morning papers, cuppas, and long chats in the fresh air have become firm favourites.

We’ve packed the month with joyful moments: our bustling Summer Fair, gin tasting afternoons, Pimms and strawberries in the sunshine, jewellery making sessions, and lovely trips out. But sometimes, the simplest pleasures are the sweetest, a quiet seat in the garden, a warm breeze, and a cup of tea shared with friends.

Here’s to more sunshine, more smiles, and a summer that keeps on giving.☀️
