Due to the current heatwave, our Lane End branch will be temporarily closed on Friday 26 June 2026 for the safety and wellbeing of our patients and staff.

Patients who had appointments booked at this branch have been contacted and informed of alternative arrangements.

Our other branch sites remain open as usual and continue to provide services as normal.

If you need medical assistance during this time, please call the practice on 01628 484666 or submit a Klinik form.

Hambleden Surgery will be closed on Tuesday 23 June 2026 due to a planned power outage by Scottish and Southern Electricity Networks (SSEN), who are carrying out maintenance work in the area.

To ensure continuity of care, all appointments scheduled for that day have been relocated to Lane End Surgery and Marlow Medical Group. Please note that the dispensary at Hambleden will also be closed on this day.

We appreciate this may cause some inconvenience and sincerely apologise for any disruption. Thank you for your understanding.

Please note we will be closed for regular clinical action this afternoon (Wednesday 13 May) from 1pm for Protected Learning Time (PLT).

All calls will be automatically redirected to the Out of Hours service or you can ring 111 directly for advice.

All GP practices in England, in line with NHS protocol, close for one afternoon per month for Protected Learning Time (PLT). PLT provides an opportunity for healthcare professionals to learn about new clinical developments, updates to national guidance, and best practice whilst also sharing their own experience and knowledge with their peers.

If you are registered for online services medications can still be ordered by the NHS App.

Next Monday (4th of May) will be a bank holiday which means the practice, as well as many pharmacies, will be closed.

Below is a list of pharmacies that will be open in Buckinghamshire as well as their open times.

If a pharmacy is not on this list they will be closed on the 4th of May.

Do you want to have a say in what happens with the practice and how we can continue to work with our local community? Maybe consider our new Patient Voice Group (PVG).

The Patient Voice Group exists for patients from a variety of backgrounds to be able to communicate with the practice about initiatives and ideas they might have to help provide our service to the entire community. The group will meet quarterly along with practice staff in order for the practice to continue offering fair and equal care to all of our patients and to present recommendations on how we can continue to serve the community best.
