Start with some shoulder shrugs…see where they take you.

A moment to wake up with presence and orientate yourself in space and time.

My all standing summer somatics practice is now available on YouTube/helenroscoeyoga for you to try - you’ll get a taste of what to expect from this little clip with me!

If you’d like to spend a little more time here...

I’d love to welcome you to my newsletter. 🤍

A few times each month I share reflections inspired by the changing seasons, gentle practices to support your wellbeing, early access to retreats and workshops, and updates from my weekly classes.

It’s a quieter corner of my work.

Less scrolling.
More slowing down.

If that sounds like something you’d enjoy, you can join via the link in my bio.

I’d love to have you there.

There are so many different reasons we come to the mat.

Sometimes we’re looking to feel stronger.

Sometimes we’re carrying tension we can’t quite explain.

Sometimes we simply need a little space to breathe.

For me, yoga has never been about touching my toes.

It’s about feeling at home in my own body.

Discovering strength without striving.

Softness without switching off.

Curiosity instead of judgement.

That’s exactly why I’ve created my new Summer Somatics series on YouTube.

A collection of free, gentle practices exploring functional movement, somatic awareness, breath and rest. They’re designed to help you move more freely, regulate your nervous system and reconnect with yourself, wherever you happen to be.

Whether you have ten minutes or a little longer, I hope these practices leave you feeling a little lighter...each practice is staggered to launch throughout August with the first already live! This way you can give yourself plenty of time to practice, play and integrate your experiences without feeling the urge to rush into the next one! 🫂

You may notice…
..a little more spaciousness...
..feeling more connected to yourself.

You’ll find the link in my bio.

I’d love to hear which practice you enjoy the most!

Helen 🤍

With so much going on at home this week, between the end of term, house renovations and planning for the months ahead, we’ve been a little quieter on here than usual.

But we couldn’t head into the weekend without taking a moment to feel incredibly grateful for everyone who joined us for our Summer Retreats last weekend.

We’ll let Elaine do the talking...

“The weekend retreat was just what I needed. This location is indeed a haven, the yoga, mindfulness session and the sauna were all great, as was the evening walk to the waterfall. Dave’s lovely meals were excellent. I thoroughly enjoyed meeting our hosts, Helen and Dave, and sharing time with them both. I definitely intend to return.”

Thank you, Elaine. 💛

It also felt like our first true Summer Retreat. Long, warm days, time spent seeking out the shade beneath the trees, colourful seasonal meals, homemade ice cream, iced caramel lattes, swims in the lake and slow evenings in the mountains. There was a real sense of celebrating the season, and we loved every moment of sharing it with you.

We’re now pressing pause on our retreat schedule while the summer holidays unfold, taking some time to rest, create and prepare for the season ahead.

Behind the scenes we’re already dreaming up our 2027 retreat programme, and we’d genuinely love to hear from you.

What kind of retreat or reset would you love to experience next year? Leave a comment below or send us a DM. Your ideas really do help shape what we create.

Wishing you a sunshine-filled weekend. ☀️🌿
