πŸπŸŽ‰ WHAT AN INCREDIBLE CRICKET DAY! πŸŽ‰πŸ

Last week was absolutely amazing! We had a fantastic turnout, lots of laughter and so much fun as everyone had the opportunity to learn new cricket skills and get involved.

For many people, this was their first chance to experience cricket and feel included in a sport they had never been given the opportunity to try before. The wonderful feedback showed just how much the day meant to everyone.

Disability should never be a barrier to experiencing life. Everyone deserves equal opportunities to try new things, develop new skills, have fun and feel that they truly belong.

A massive thank you to Warwickshire Cricket Foundation for hosting such a brilliant day and making everyone feel welcome, supported and included.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and made the day unforgettable. We cannot wait to do it all again!

🎳 Strikes, Smiles and Growing Confidence!

What a fantastic day our Build Your Own Circle (BYOC) group had at Hollywood Bowl, Resorts World! πŸŽ‰

There was plenty of laughter, a little friendly competition and lots of strikes (and a few gutter balls!). Most importantly, everyone had the opportunity to build friendships, try something new and enjoy a fun day out together.

The biggest success wasn't just the bowling it was the confidence that grew throughout the day. Many of the people we support now feel confident enough to return to Resorts World and go bowling independently with friends or family in the future.

Creating opportunities like this is exactly what BYOC is all about helping people build confidence, reduce isolation, develop lasting friendships and become more connected to their community.

It was such a successful trip that we're already planning another visit!

A huge thank you to the fantastic team at Hollywood Bowl Resorts World for making everyone feel so welcome.

Glue was spilled (only a little!), the tea was flowing, the laughter was contagious and the creativity was off the charts!

What another fantastic Craft & Chat session! We've had an amazing turnout and it's been brilliant to see so many people making new friends, getting creative and proving that there's no such thing as "being bad at arts and crafts"... it's called abstract art!

From colourful creations to plenty of smiles (and maybe a bit too much glitter!), every Wednesday reminds us why this group is so special. It's not just about crafting – it's about building confidence, making connections and having lots of fun along the way.

If you're aged 18+ with a learning disability and/or autism why not come and see what all the fuss is about?

πŸ–ŒοΈ Get creative
β˜• Enjoy a cuppa and a chat
😊 Meet friendly faces
πŸ’™ Everyone is welcome – no artistic skills required (we promise!)

πŸ“… Every Wednesday
πŸ•₯ 10:30am – 12:00pm
πŸ“ 11–13 Land Lane, Marston Green, Bickenhill, Birmingham, B37 7DE

Crafts and refreshments are provided and while the group is free to attend, donations are always appreciated.

Come along make something amazing have a laugh and remember... you can never have too much glitter (unless it's still on your clothes next Wednesday! )

Get in touch to find out more – we'd love to welcome you!

🐾 Warning: Serious Levels of Cuteness Ahead! 🐾

As part of Learning Disability Awareness Week our BYOC Project welcomed some very special guests from Guide Dogs UK... and let's just say, productivity completely disappeared the moment the dogs arrived!

The people we support had an amazing time meeting these adorable canine superstars, learning all about how guide dogs help people every day and most importantly... giving out LOTS of cuddles.

There were plenty of brilliant questions asked, including the one that nearly stole the show:

"But what if the guide dog is blind?"

Don't worry – the fantastic Guide Dogs team had all the answers and made learning fun, interesting and full of laughs!

We learned so much, made some furry new friends and can confirm that guide dogs are experts in:
βœ… Guiding people
βœ… Melting hearts
βœ… Stealing all the attention
βœ… Receiving endless belly rubs

A huge THANK YOU to Guide Dogs UK for visiting us, answering all our questions (even the tricky ones!) and bringing along the cutest colleagues we've ever met.

We're still not sure who enjoyed the visit more – the people or the dogs!
