✨ Goodbye, July... what a beautiful month you were. ✨
As I sit with my morning cuppa and reflect on the past few weeks, my heart feels incredibly full.
July blessed us with glorious sunshine, long warm days and memories that will stay with me for a long time. We escaped to beautiful Croyde in North Devon with my hubby and wonderful friends, enjoying delicious food, laughter and the simple joy of being beside the sea.
I also discovered that I'm becoming quite the professional body boarder... or at least I'd like to think so! 😂 Although, I do have to wear my wetsuit and swimming goggles because apparently I'm still a complete baby when it comes to getting salt water in my eyes! It may not have been the most glamorous look on the beach, but it certainly did the job!
Back in the therapy room, my heart has been just as full. Welcoming new clients is always such a privilege. The trust people place in me to support them on their wellbeing journey is something I never take for granted. Thank you to every new client who found their way to Angelic Holistics, and to every returning client who continues to allow me to walk alongside them. Your support means more than you'll ever know.
It was also a joy to attune wonderful students to Reiki Level 1 and Reiki Level 2, watching them begin, or continue, their own beautiful spiritual journeys. Witnessing those moments of transformation never loses its magic.
Personally, July was filled with precious family moments too. Cinema dates, cuddles, giggles and a visit to the Meow Lounge with my beautiful granddaughters created memories I'll treasure forever.
Then came my birthday... and what a celebration it was! From lovely meals out and the cinema to an evening at the theatre, surrounded by family and wonderful friends, I was reminded just how fortunate I am. I truly do feel grateful, blessed and deeply loved.
Of course, life always reminds us that alongside the joyful moments can come the challenging ones.
Many of you know our beloved Labrador, Indie, has had a difficult few weeks. It felt like an endless journey of vet visits, emergency appointments, worry and heartache, seeing her uncomfortable and not quite herself. Thankfully, after dental treatment and four teeth being removed, two of which had exposed nerves, we finally had our answer. No wonder our beautiful girl was struggling.
She may now be a little gappy, but she's so much brighter, happier and back to being the Indie we know and love. For that, I am beyond grateful.
A heartfelt thank you to every veterinary professional who cared for her with such kindness, compassion and expertise. You really are incredible.
As July gently closed its chapter, I carry forward so much gratitude: for health, for family, for friendships, for meaningful work, for new beginnings, for healing, for laughter, for the sea, and even for the lessons hidden within the harder days.
Here's to embracing everything August has waiting for us.
With love and gratitude,
Simone 💜✨ ###
