Wow… we’re truly overwhelmed by the incredible support at our Summer Fair! 💛🎪 Thank you to everyone who came along and helped make it such a wonderful day.

A huge thank you to:
🎶 Rob & Miss D for the fantastic music.
🍦 Barney for bringing his amazing ice cream van.
🎨 Beth for the wonderful face painting and fabulous glitter tattoos.
🧁 Nathan & Lucy for the delicious homemade cakes, and to our brilliant kitchen team for all their hard work.
🌟 Samanta, Sophia & Cara for giving up their time to help run our stalls—you were amazing!
🔨 Darryl, our wonderful Maintenance Man, for always being there with a helping hand. You do so much behind the scenes that we couldn’t possibly list it all—thank you for everything you do!

And, of course, the biggest thank you goes to our incredible carers. ❤️ Without your hard work, dedication and teamwork, events like this simply wouldn’t be possible. You prove every single day that Riverside Court isn’t just a care home—it’s a real home, built by the very best team.

Sometimes it’s the smallest gestures that touch our hearts the most. 💛🎶

One of our wonderful residents, Anthony, has written a song about Riverside Court and what makes it feel like a true home. His beautiful words remind us that home isn’t just a place—it’s the people, the friendships, the care, and the love we share every day.

It was truly heartwarming to hear, and we can’t thank you enough, Anthony. Your song means the world to us and will always hold a special place in our hearts. 🥰✨

This week, our Baking Club was absolutely cracking! 👩‍🍳🍰✨

There was plenty of mixing, baking and, of course, tasting—because ( as You all know ;P ) we never miss the chance for a lovely munch! 😋💛

What a fantastic afternoon at the Workington Royal British Legion 🎉🎶💃🕺

As always, we had an amazing time. The music was fabulous, the atmosphere was brilliant, and there was plenty of singing, dancing, and smiling! 🎤🥳💛
