Absolutely beautiful route around some of the hills and mountains of my childhood - so many fond memories.

Got to thank my cousin’s husband for the loan of his Tarmac SL8, which despite my general anti-specialized bikes stance was an absolute joy to ride and really handles like it’s on rails.

I’m very excited to be able to have this absolutely stunning Forge frameset here at the studio - and just look the detail and finishing on this frame!!
•
Bottom bracket and headset bearing seats have all been finished and brake mounts perfectly faced - all this means it will build up and run like a dream.
•
As a bike fitter we always talk about ‘fit first’ and that’s great if you get your fit dialled until you go to get your new bike and it comes with a whole load of components in the wrong sizes - bars too wide, stem too short etc etc
•
While I work with some custom steel frame makers and a few other metal bike manufacturers the truth is there are very few carbon frames (especially of this quality) that offer a complete build to order option so your bike is built to your exact specifications - when you pair that with the well thought out geometry of the Forge it is an impressive prospect - hence why it’s up on the studio wall!!
