โจ Meet the Team Wednesday โจ
Hi everyone! Iโm Aarti, the Home Manager at The Amwell.
Iโve worked in social care for my entire career, starting as a care assistant and progressing through a variety of roles, including having the privilege of commissioning a brand-new elderly nursing home. Every role has taught me something valuable, but one thing has never changed, my passion for providing the very best care.
My journey into care began for a deeply personal reason. When I was 15, I sadly lost my mum after she was ill for some time . Around the same time, I was also very close to someone with learning disabilities, which inspired me to start my career supporting people with learning disabilities. Those experiences shaped who I am and gave me a lifelong commitment to helping others.
I chose to join The Amwell because I wanted to make a real difference. I enjoy a challenge, and there is nothing more rewarding than seeing positive change happen. Watching the home continue to grow, seeing residents receive the care they deserve, and working alongside such a dedicated and compassionate team makes me incredibly proud. The commitment, resilience and kindness our team shows every day is inspiring.
โจ A random fact about me: Outside of work, I love my time with family , travelling and spending time with my two fox red Labradors. They certainly keep me on my toes!
Iโm excited to be part of The Amwellโs journey and look forward to helping make it a place our residents, families and local community can be proud of.
