London bound!

I’m off to teach Advanced Mat Pilates and Level 3 Mat Pilates assessments this weekend, and I absolutely can’t wait!

It’s always a privilege to share knowledge, support aspiring instructors and see people develop their confidence and skills on their Pilates journey.

Looking forward to a weekend of movement, learning, teaching and plenty of Pilates! 💪🏼

I’ve finally found the perfect wrist and ankle weights! 💕 They’re comfortable, secure, beautifully made and add just the right amount of resistance to Pilates, walks and home workouts. Plus, who says fitness accessories can’t look stylish?

The leopard print is a lovely bonus! 🐆💪 Definitely one of my favourite fitness purchases this year.

They came from Amazon!

Today I was NOT fired up.
I was also counting down the minutes until I could go home.

You don’t have to feel motivated to keep your promises to yourself though!

Instead of telling yourself you need to smash a full workout…

➡️ Commit to 20 minutes.
➡️ If you’ve got more in you, make it 30.
➡️ Feeling good? Push it to 40.

Once you’ve started, you’ll keep going. And if you don’t? You still turned up, moved your body, and built the habit.

Progress isn’t made by perfect workouts. It’s made by consistently doing something. Anything.

Because something will always beat nothing. 💪

How long does it take till you’re an expert? Apparently it’s 10,000 hrs..
In retrospect I’d probably clocked up 10,000+ hours in the gym before I even did my gym instructor qualification. Since then, I’ve easily clocked up another 10,000+ hours coaching and training other people.

But Reformer Pilates. Hmmmmm

I’m an abject beginner. 😅

I’ve barely reached 20 hours on the reformer, and every session reminds me just how much I don’t know…

So… 5 more hours on the reformer this weekend. 💪

Only another 9,975 hours to go… 😂

Stay curious folks, embrace being a beginner, and remember that every expert started exactly where we are now.
