Are you eligible for the MenB vaccine?

The NHS MenB vaccination programme is being expanded for eligible young people, including:

• School Year 13 students born between 1 September 2007 and 31 August 2008
• First-time university undergraduates starting in autumn 2026 who were born on or after 21 July 2001
• Young people born on or after 21 July 2001 who are moving into further education accommodation or university halls for the first time in autumn 2026

The MenB vaccine helps protect against meningococcal group B disease, which can cause meningitis and septicaemia.
