I know, first hand, what it's like to struggle with sexuality. I'm also a Therapist and Mentor for LGBTQ+ persons. Pride month is more than a celebration, it's also about support and awareness. Reach out if you, or someone you love, is struggling. I'm here to help.

Self-care tip: colouring!
I have a new tablet and downloaded a free colouring tool. I literally use the 'fill color' option (click on a shape and I fills it in with the colour I've chosen) so there's no need for concentration with keeping in the lines! So easy & relaxing. I'm not the next Van Gogh, but I'm a little more relaxed each evening!

Self-care challenge: what makes you sparkle?

Appallingly cheesy post - but humour me...
Think of 3 things that make you sparkle. Then do one of them this weekend!
Some suggestions:
Go food shopping wearing your most elaborate jewellery. Why the F not!?
Call your best friend about something funny that happened to you recently.
Buy / pick yourself some flowers.
Buy / pick your partner some flowers - see the look on their face!
Dance around the kitchen listening to your guilty pleasure music (S Club 7 / Papa Roach mix anyone?!)

The list is endless - but we tell ourselves we don't have time for it. I'm telling you to make time - just once this weekend.
Would love to hear your answers to what makes you sparkle! I bet they will be great suggestions for other people!

Self care tip: fruit picking & stewing (heat with sugar to taste). Result - fresh air, quiet time (or have headphones in), achievement, and a delicious fruity mush you can add to deserts, have on toast, or freeze for winter deserts. Mine's strawberries and logan berries. Total time: 30mins picking, 15 mins stewing (varies).
