*** Vaccination season ***

Starting 1st of October, we are launching Influenza (flu), Covid-19 combined service as per updated NHS specifications. You can get a booking to have them at the same time or book separate appointments. Adult vaccines are not live, so unlikely to cause complications. Bookings are now available via following options:

As part of the NHS updates, we are also going to be doing LAIV nasal vaccines for children aged 2-17 year olds - these will have to be booked via NHS booking system as our website does not have this option. Please refer to the booking system if your child is eligible for this service:

We have also been doing and will continue with Meningitis B vaccinations as part of NHS specifications for children in final year of school or anyone preparing to go to university accommodations up to age of 25 years old. Please find the following details to book:

*** Operational update ***

Our card machine update has taken place sooner than we expected and only took an hour to complete! We are fully operational again and take card payments as usual with an updated card machine.

*** Monday 7th September 14:00-17:00 ***

We are getting our payment card machine upgraded on Monday 7th of September starting 14:00 that will likely to last 2-3 hours. During the time of upgrade installation, card payments will NOT be accepted and we will be working on cash-only basis.

We will update once the new card machines will be up and running! Thank you in advance for your patience while we improve our services.

*** Service highlight ***

Since end of last year, pharmacies have been set up to provide a Pharmacy Contraception Service (PCS).

Main update that has come to improve equality for women in UK is that Emergency Contraception (morning-after pill) has been made free of charge under this NHS service - the consultation is discreet and confidential!

Additionally, pharmacies are able to not only issue repeat supplies for Oral Contraception (mini-pill, combined oral contraception/COC) but also have a discussion and help start a medication. We will ensure the medication is safe for you and take necessary readings and liaise with the GP ✅️

If for any reason we are unable to proceed - we will create a referral to a relevant healthcare provider🏥

*** ISSUE RESOLVED ***

📵❌️ Unfortunately, our phone line seems to not be connected properly at the exchange - BT has engineers investigating, we are getting some calls intermittently through but no stable line. We have not been provided a timeframe for the fault to be fixed but will update later today if we have the phones back up and running.

We understand the frustration this may cause - feel free to send us a message for any urgent queries.

We have been updated that the issue at the exchange has been worse than first thought. Whilst the engineers are working on it, unfortunately, we have no timeline for when the phones will be back online.

Please be aware that our phone line has unexpectedly dropped. This is now being investigated with priority but we have no update for when we will be able to either receive or give out calls.

We will update accordingly once our phones are back online

Update 11.29am :

We have been informed there is an issue at exchange for our phone line. It should be back up and running by 17.00pm. It may be earlier but no confirmation yet. Thank you for your patience

Update 17.23pm :

Unfortunately, BT has not yet connected us back. We have chased-up the request and following-up on the new timeline. Apologies for any inconvenience caused - we will be back online as soon as the issue is resolved
