You know that feeling when your mind never quite switches off?

The constant overthinking.
The what ifs.
The feeling that you’re always “on.”
The guilt when you try to rest.
The sense that everyone else comes first.

For so many women, anxiety isn’t always loud. Sometimes it’s just a constant background hum that’s been there for so long, you almost forget what life feels like without it.

But it doesn’t have to stay that way.

This little corner of Instagram is for the women who are exhausted from just surviving.

Here you’ll find gentle reminders, practical tools and a deeper understanding of anxiety, so you can stop fearing it, start trusting yourself again, and find more calm in everyday life.

You deserve more than simply getting through the day.

You deserve to feel like yourself again. 💛

If that sounds like what you’ve been looking for, you’re in the right place.

Hi, I’m Amy 👋

I thought it was about time I properly introduced myself.

I’m a married, mum of two, coffee & book lover, concert-goer, and someone who genuinely believes that healing is possible because I’ve lived it myself.

Years ago, anxiety completely took over my life. It made my world feel smaller, stole my confidence and left me constantly wondering, “Will I ever feel like me again?”

The answer was yes.

That journey is one of the reasons I decided to soecialise in working with anxiety in my practice. Today, I have the privilege of supporting women who are exhausted by overthinking, panic, worry and feeling like anxiety is running the show.

You don’t have to have it all figured out before reaching out. You don’t have to “be bad enough” either.

Whether you’ve been here for a while or you’ve only just found my page, I’m so glad you’re here.

I’d love to get to know you too, so tell me something about yourself in the comments. What’s one thing you love outside of work? ☕️🌿

If you’ve ever found yourself feeling panicky the moment the temperature rises, you’re definitely not alone.

One of the hardest parts of anxiety is that the physical sensations of being hot and the physical sensations of anxiety overlap so much.

A racing heart.
Sweaty palms.
Feeling lightheaded.
Shortness of breath.

It’s easy for your brain to think, “Here we go again...”

The good news? Those sensations don’t automatically mean you’re unsafe.

Sometimes the most helpful thing isn’t trying to stop the feelings—it’s understanding them.

💛 Save this post for the next hot day.

Counselling sessions take place in the Crown Counselling room at my home in Eagle Farm South, Milton Keynes. The room is a cosy and welcoming garage conversion at the back of my garden, created to feel calm, comfortable and private.

When you arrive, you can park on the drive and ring the bell at the front of the house. I will come and meet you at the side gate and show you through to the counselling room.

The space is tucked away from the main house to help you feel safe, relaxed and able to talk openly without interruption or judgement.

I also conduct my online counselling sessions from this space, allowing me to offer the same calm, confidential and supportive environment whether we work together in person or online.

…I still lie awake sometimes replaying conversations and questioning myself.

…I’ve cancelled plans because my anxiety felt too loud that day.

…I know what it’s like to look completely fine and feel anything but.

…I still have to catch myself when my mind starts spiralling.

…I don’t always feel calm, I just know how to support myself when I’m not.

Because this is the part people don’t talk about enough…

Understanding anxiety doesn’t mean you NEVER FEEL IT

It means you respond to it differently.

It means you don’t panic about the anxiety on top of everything else!

It means you trust yourself to handle what shows up.

That’s the shift.

And it’s something you can learn, with the right support.

On the outside, it can look like you’re just getting on with things.

But inside, you might be checking how you feel, scanning for symptoms, wondering if anxiety is going to hit, or planning how you’ll cope if it does.

This is the part of anxiety so many people don’t see.

And it makes sense that you feel tired.
