From the UK to Italy, on foot. What a man. 💚

Meet Alex, a photographer/videographer l, university lecturer and studio owner in Northampton, who took on an extraordinary journey to raise money for The Man Cave UK.

After losing a friend to su***de, Alex took this journey to honour them as well as navigating through his grief, simultaneously using this as opportunity to raise funds to help other men find support and connection.

As part of our build-up to the Men’s Mental Health Charity Game, we want to highlight the support available right here in our community.

Our club partner The Man Cave provides a local mental health support group for men in Milton Keynes and the surrounding areas, including regular meetings here in Newport Pagnell.

You don’t have to share. You don’t have to explain. Sometimes simply turning up and listening can be the first step.

Join us at Willen Road on Sunday 30 August as football and our local community come together to raise awareness around men’s mental health.

Today, our Man Cave Community Leader; Ross, met with Kay, the Community Champion at Tesco, to discuss the exciting new collaboration between The Man Cave and Tesco.

We’re looking forward to seeing how this partnership develops and the positive impact it will bring to our community.

Faye - I recently lost some very special to me due to mental health, Kieran was only 28 he was the most amazing, loving, kind, selfless man who had a heart of gold and lite up every room he walked into ❤️ Kieran struggled in silence with his battle against mental health. Going forward I want to help change the stigma against men and mental health so no one else has to go through the battle alone again. Supporting a charity like the man cave gives men a judgement free opportunity to speak and let it out with the support of others who understand and I want to support that as much as I can!

Thank you, Faye, for your incredible support and for turning your loss into a drive to help other men. ❤️

We’re truly grateful to you for supporting Mancave and helping us remind men that they don’t have to face their battles alone. 💚

Next Fundraiser - Sunday 16th August!!!

We can’t thank you all enough for those who are stepping up and participating to represent The Man Cave and to help our Northampton Senior Leader, Michael Winch make this more possible 🫶🏼

Here is the schedule for the day!

In addition to this there will be a bake stall, a kiddie craft station, penalty shoot out, raffle stall and of course a Man Cave stall to keep spreading the good word!

It’s looking to be a really good day so I’m looking forward to this!

Please do your best to share, encourage family & friends to come down and make this a big thing. 💚

If you can spare an hour to come and cheer the lads putting on the shirt to represent the Man Cave we’d greatly appreciate it!

On Saturday 1st August, 5 Man Cavers completed a 27 mile marathon walk around MK hitting the Man Cave meet locations & lakes. 🙏💚

No mean feat given the hot temperatures. 🥵 This challenge represents the hardship & suffering that men go through every day.

Thank you to all who have supported us, donated & to our co-director Jono P**n for joining us on the latter leg of the marathon giving that moral support to us, especially as he was carrying a pre-existing injury. 🙏💚

Absolutely delighted to have been one of the stops on today’s The Man Cave UK walk

We are incredibly proud to be one of the supporters of this amazing local group — and even prouder that together with our amazing Dolphin community we have already raised £1,210 for Man Cave this year. 💙

Mental health matters. Looking after yourself matters. And sometimes the biggest thing you can do is simply realise you don’t have to do it alone.

The Man Cave is a place where men can come together, chat, support each other, and know there’s a friendly face waiting.

They meet every Wednesday at 7pm at The Mead Centre, Newport Pagnell.

If you or someone you know could benefit from a bit of support, a conversation, or just a room full of people who get it — go and check them out.

Massive love to everyone involved in today’s walk.
