If there is a card that embodies the first harvest festival it would be this one for me.
The Empress embodies Nature herself, Mother Earth, Gaia and is connected to the Goddess Demeter or Ceres, who in turn are connected to grain and harvest.

The boredom card! But it is of course much more than that. It’s a feeling of apathy, being stuck, a feeling I have called lazy, but restless.
You want something to happen, but you don’t know what.
Unfortunately that puts you in the worst frame of mind to spot opportunities when they do show themselves!

You actually have choices, even if you consider them to be without merit and greet any offer of something different with disdain.
Whatever is causing this, really doesn’t help you getting out of this funk.
Maybe it’s just too much of the same all the time?

Try to reevaluate your options today. Check in with offers, choices and opportunities you have previously dismissed, there might just be something there for you.
Let yourself be surprised by something, try something new, clearly the old isn’t cutting it anymore.

In the tarot the Sun is a very positive card, speaking of abundance, growth, pleasure, enthusiasm happiness and more. I often liken it to the feel of sun on your skin on the first warm day after the winter.
Bliss!

A feeling of empowerment often comes with this card. Shining like the sun, embodying the sun sign Leo (which we are currently in), taking centre stage and enjoying the attention. Following the light after the darkness.
Of course there are downsides like too much ego or obsession with material wealth, but as long as we keep that side in check things are looking good.

On a very direct and practical way of looking at this card, which is the kind of reader I am, we are currently experiencing heatwave after heatwave and while it might have been amazing to have a proper summer to start with, it is now getting dangerous.
