First Aid Training in Schools

Totally agree with the points made by Peter Aziz from Cleveland Clinic that teaching in schools could be key to help improve survival rates for out-of-hospital cardiac arrests.

In England, first aid was introduced as a statutory requirement under the Department for Education's Health Education guidance in 2020, but according to the Resuscitation Council UK, nearly four in ten students (38%) say they haven’t received CPR training in school. More clearly needs to be done.
