What a beautiful way to start the day, taking our practice outside and making the most of the lovely weather we're experiencing. πŸ’š

This morning I had the pleasure of guiding two beautiful souls through a mindful yoga practice surrounded by nature. We began with grounding and connecting to the breath before moving into a gentle warm-up to awaken the body.

Our flow included Sun Salutations to welcome the day, Warrior poses to build strength and stability, and a variety of stretches to create space and ease throughout the body.
There was also an opportunity to explore and practice Headstand for those wishing to challenge themselves and build confidence in their practice.

We finished, as always, with a peaceful Savasana, allowing the body to fully relax and absorb the benefits of the morning's movement.

There's something truly special about practising yoga outdoors β€” feeling the warmth of the sun, the fresh air on your skin, and the connection to the natural world around you. πŸŒΏβ˜€οΈ

✨ Monday Evening Yoga ✨

What a beautiful way to begin the week together. πŸ’œ

Tonight's class started with a grounding practice, allowing us to arrive fully in the present moment and connect with our breath.

From there, we flowed into mindful movement, gently exploring the body with awareness, intention, and kindness.

To finish our practice, we settled into relaxation. Rather than a traditional Savasana, each practitioner was invited to choose the position that felt most nurturing and supportive for them. Whether lying down, seated, or resting in a comfortable pose, everyone was encouraged to honour what their body needed in that moment.

Yoga is not about forcing ourselves into a particular shape; it's about listening, feeling, and creating space for ourselves exactly as we are.

Yesterday’s class may have been small in numbers, but it was beautiful in every way. πŸ’›

With just two lovely souls on their mats, we enjoyed a gentle blend of deep stretching and mindful movement, creating space to slow down, breathe, and reconnect with ourselves.

There is something truly special about these intimate classes – the opportunity to move with awareness, listen to the body, and simply be present in the moment.

Thank you both for bringing your wonderful energy to the space. Watching you embrace the practice with openness and curiosity is always a joy. πŸ™

Remember, yoga isn't about how far you can stretch or how perfect a pose looks. It's about creating a deeper connection with yourself, one breath and one movement at a time.

Some people think yoga is:

❌ Being flexible
❌ Standing on your head
❌ Wearing expensive leggings
❌ Twisting yourself into impossible shapes

But yoga is so much more than that ✨
Yoga is:

πŸ’› Learning to slow down
πŸ’› Connecting back to yourself
πŸ’› Breathing through life’s challenges
πŸ’› Creating space in a busy mind
πŸ’› Finding strength, softness & balance
πŸ’› Feeling present in your body exactly as you are

You do not need to be flexible to begin yoga.
You do not need to β€œlook” a certain way.
You do not need experience.

Yoga meets you where you are 🌿

Sometimes yoga looks like movement.
Sometimes it looks like stillness.
Sometimes it’s simply taking one conscious breath when life feels overwhelming.

At its heart, yoga is connection β€” to yourself, your body, your breath, nature, and the present moment ✨

And that is something every single person is worthy of experiencing πŸ’œπŸ’œ
