🚤 Our annual canal boat trips are officially underway! 💙

Residents from Hopton Cottage Care Home enjoyed a wonderful day cruising from Shepley Marina towards Huddersfield, soaking up the beautiful scenery along the canal. 🌿☀️

We enjoyed a delicious picnic, sang along to our favourite tunes, and made plenty of happy memories together. 🎶🧺

A special thank you to Tony, who expertly steered the boat and helped us through the locks, making the day extra special! 👏⚓

Nothing beats fresh air, great company, and smiles all round. We can’t wait for our next adventure! 💙

Our residents have been enjoying a fantastic World Cup-themed activity session filled with fun, laughter, and friendly competition!

Everyone had a wonderful time testing their football knowledge, getting creative, and celebrating countries from around the world. It was lovely to see so much enthusiasm and teamwork throughout the day!

☀️💧 Hydration Bingo was in full swing today at Hopton Cottage Care Home! 💧☀️

With the temperatures soaring, we put a refreshing twist on our bingo game to help everyone stay hydrated. Every time a number ending in 0 or 5 was called, our residents took a drink, and after every line and full house, it was another sip! 🥤🎉

There were plenty of laughs, lots of bingo excitement, and most importantly, everyone kept topped up with fluids throughout the afternoon. Staying hydrated has never been so much fun! 😊

Well done to all our bingo winners today, and thank you to everyone who joined in. 🌞💙
