What a lovely girl she was to work on. She stood beautifully and seemed to enjoy all the fuss and attention!
It's always rewarding to see how such gentle Emmett moves can help our furry friends feel more comfortable and relaxed. Sometimes the smallest touch can make the biggest difference.
Thank you for being such a superstar, Coco. You were an absolute pleasure, and I think you earned a few extra treats afterwards! 🦴❤️

Who says healthy food has to be complicated?
Tonight's meal was a quick and easy homemade take on a British favourite:
🐟 Air-fried fish
🍠 Sweet potato chips
💚 Mushy peas
The fish provides a great source of protein, sweet potatoes are packed with fibre and vitamins, and mushy peas add extra fibre and plant-based goodness.
Simple, tasty, and on the table in no time – proof that healthy eating can fit into even the busiest of days.

"You never know where a conversation about aches and pains might lead..."

A Little Gym Story... 😊
The other day at the gym, a fellow gym-goer was telling me how much discomfort she was having with her knees while using the exercise bike.
After our workout, I offered to spend just 5 minutes giving her a quick Emmett treatment.
Two days later, I walked back into the gym and was greeted with a huge smile. Before I could even say hello, she called me a "miracle worker!"
Of course, I'll leave the miracle-working to someone else, but it's always lovely to hear when someone is feeling the benefit of treatment so quickly.
It's a great reminder that sometimes a few gentle Emmett moves can make a real difference to comfort, movement and confidence.

What a fantastic day teaching Emmett! 😊

A huge thank you to my three wonderful students today. It was a pleasure to spend the day with you all and watch your confidence grow as the moves started to click into place.

There were plenty of those classic Emmett moments throughout the day... the surprised faces, the laughter, and the inevitable "How did I do that?" expressions when movement suddenly became easier and more comfortable!

I'm sorry Jo wasn't able to make it today you were missed and I hope to see you soon.

Days like today remind me why I love teaching. Seeing people discover simple techniques that can help themselves, their family and friends is incredibly rewarding.

Well done everyone, you've all done brilliantly! 💙

I'm all set and ready to teach today's Emmett Technique workshop.
One of the things I love most about these workshops is that they're not just for therapists or healthcare professionals. They're for anyone who wants to learn simple, practical techniques to help themselves, family members, friends, or colleagues feel more comfortable and move more freely.
It's always amazing to see how gentle movements can make such a noticeable difference, and I can't wait to share that knowledge with today's attendees.
Looking forward to a day of learning, laughter, and plenty of "wow" moments!

☀️ BANK HOLIDAY CHECK-IN ☀️

If I’m honest… I’m feeling this heat myself today 🥵😂
After 3 weeks of hard work helping build the new rockery for Mirfield in Bloom, my body is definitely reminding me I’m not 21 anymore 🌿💪
The aching back… The stiff shoulders… The tired legs… And the “I’ll just sit down for 5 minutes” that turns into an hour 😂
Sometimes even therapists need to listen to their own advice too.
So this is your little Motivational Monday reminder 💛
✨ Rest without guilt
✨ Drink the water
✨ Pace yourself in this heat
✨ Stop ignoring those aches and pains
Because pushing through constantly catches up with all of us eventually.
Hot weather, stress, gardening, lifting, work, family life… it all takes its toll on the body.
So if you’re feeling stiff, exhausted, swollen or completely worn out after this Bank Holiday weekend, you’re definitely not alone.
