During an Osteopathic assessment and treatment, we may be considering the function of multiple muscles, joints, connective tissues such as joint capsule, ligaments and fascia, which all play an integral part in how we Co-ordinate our movements or maintain posture.
The Sartorius is just one muscle in the thigh, which is active across the hip and knee joints and it helps to Co-ordinate movements through both those joints addressing direction and control of movements such as walking, running, sitting, standing, crossing the legs.
