Our residents at Oakleigh enjoyed a wonderful afternoon getting their hands dirty and their creativity flowing as they potted a variety of beautiful flowers and plants. 🌸🪴

Gardening is a fantastic way to relax and stay active, and there were plenty of smiles as everyone chose their favourite blooms and arranged them with care. 🌷😊

Well done to everyone who took part…we can't wait to watch these plants grow and flourish! 💚🌱

Chair-based exercises are a great way to improve mobility, build strength, boost confidence, and support overall wellbeing - all while having fun together.

A talented singer joined our residents for a lively session of Singing Bingo, filling the home with music, laughter, and plenty of toe-tapping moments.

From classic favourites to songs everyone could join in with, it was truly a joy to see so many smiles and hear voices singing along.

This Easter, we’ve been treated to something truly magical… our little eggs have hatched! 🥚🐣 ✨
Watching these tiny chicks make their grand entrance into the world has brought so much joy, wonder, and smiles to everyone here.

It’s been a beautiful reminder of new beginnings, hope, and the simple pleasures that bring us together 💛

🐣 Something very special happened at Oakleigh this Easter… 🐣✨

We were so excited to welcome some beautiful eggs into Oakleigh, and everyone eagerly waited for them to hatch! 🥚💛

Our residents and staff checked on them every day, watching closely and counting down the moments. There was a real buzz of excitement around the home as we waited to welcome some tiny, fluffy new arrivals 🐥

This wonderful experience brought so many smiles, sparked conversations, and created happy memories for everyone involved. Seeing the chicks hatch just in time for Easter filled the home with joy and laughter 🌸 🐥
It truly was a special time for all of us, and one we’ll remember fondly 🐣💫

🌸 Mother’s Day Afternoon Tea Celebration 🌸

At Oakleigh, we had the most wonderful time celebrating all the amazing mums, grandmas, and mother figures in our care home 💕

Our lounge was filled with laughter, love, and the smell of freshly brewed tea as everyone enjoyed a delightful afternoon tea together.
From delicious finger sandwiches and cakes to sweet treats and warm cups of tea, it was a truly special way to say thank you to the incredible women who mean so much to us.

Residents shared stories, smiles, and precious moments with friends, family, and staff - making it a day to remember 💐

🎶 🌸 A Musical Mother’s Day to Remember 🌸🎶

At Oakleigh, we had a truly special celebration in our care home this Mother’s Day, as we welcomed a wonderful live singer to entertain our residents and their families 💕

It was so heartwarming to see residents, families and the staff singing, clapping along, and even having a little dance - creating memories that will stay with us for a long time 🎤💐

A big thank you to our fantastic performer for making the day extra special, and to all our amazing mums - we hope you felt truly celebrated and appreciated 💕

Caught in the act! One of our cheeky residents was peeking at another resident’s letters during a game of Scrabble… and quickly looked away when they were caught! 🧐➡️🙈

Moments like these remind us that a little friendly mischief can make game time even more fun. 🎲💛
