It is with great sadness to announce that my wife, soul mate and best friend Karen, passed away on Tuesday 9th June 2026 at 8.50am., after fighting cancer for the past 3 and a half years. Beloved wife of Michael, loving mum to Jack, Liam and Sammi, grandmum to Oliver Blakey and a dearest daughter of James and Connie Walker. Funeral service at Dundee Crematorium on Friday, June 19th at 2.30pm., to which family and friends are respectfully invited, family flowers only please, but donations if desired to Sarcoma Research will be received at the Crematorium. Karen was a big Disney fan and it would be appreciated if you could wear something Disney or bright colours.

The children of Liz Hanna would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude for all the kind messages, cards, flowers and support they received following their loss. We would also like to especially thank family and friends who attended her celebration of life service and to those who watched the service from further afield.

We would also like to thank the celebrant, Paula Sinclair for providing a heartfelt service that captured their mother perfectly and to Dale Martin at Selwood for his care and support throughout.

A special thanks goes to Claire Stewart from Angus Macmillan Cancer Support, the District Nurses, Social Care staff, Marie Curie and staff at Roxburghe House for all the care they provided to our mum.

We are also very grateful for all the donations received for Macmillan Cancer Support and Marie Curie. All your kindness and support has meant a lot to us, thank you.
