NHS Pharmacy First Scotland is an NHS service provided by us your local community pharmacy.
If you have a minor illness, our pharmacy is the first place you can come to for advice.

❇️NHS PHARMACY FIRST!❇️

Today marks six years of the
NHS Pharmacy First (Scotland) Service.

Since launching in July 2020, the service has expanded access to care through community pharmacies across Scotland, helping patients access advice, treatment and referral closer to home.
In 2024/25 alone, more than 1.9 million people used the service, with community pharmacist independent prescribing continuing to grow across the network.

Consider visiting us before booking a Doctor appointment, as we can assist with most minor ailments.

⚫️PRIVATE EAR WAX REMOVAL SERVICE!!⚫️

We have been delighted to have played a significant part in addressing the high volume of demand for ear and hearing services here in Tayside since 2021!!

We have treated thousands of patients that have all been delighted with the results of the TympaHealth Microsuction Ear System.

Throughout these 5 past years we have covered many cases, from Ear Wax Removal, Foreign Object Removal and referrals onwards to ENT ( Ear, Nose & Throat)

Our patients have appreciated how efficient our service has been and in some cases we have even prevented some of them having to visit A&E!

“REMEMBER WE HAVE FREE PARKING OUTSIDE OUR PHARMACY AND ARE WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBLE TOO!!”

▪️Due to the high demand of this popular service we recommend that you contact us to book an appointment please, as this is not a walk-in service.
▪️We have introduced our first price increase for this service for all new bookings from July 22nd 2026:
£40 for one Ear
£50 for both Ears
£8 for Ear Examination (which is deducted if the Microsuction Service is required)

Ashludie Pharmacy & Troup Pharmacy shall both be closed on Monday 27th July in line with the public holidays for GP practices across Tayside.

This means that Monifieth Health Centre shall also be closed.

Please make sure that you are up to date and organised with any prescriptions that you may be needing and collect by Saturday at 1pm!😃👍
