A little sneak peek at some of our summer menu options... Neil, our catering lead, has been in our kitchen this week, walking us through the new options and plating. For people who may be on a cognitive journey or living with a Dementia, choosing what to eat can often be determined entirely by how something looks and smells, rather than choosing an option on a menu card. That's why it's so important to keep our meals looking and smelling delicious!🫑🥗🥪

Win spent some time in the garden, enjoying the flowers and greenery around her. The colours, scents and peaceful surroundings sparked lovely conversations about picking wildflowers when she was younger, which she enjoyed sharing and we loved hearing! A simple but magical moment 🌸

We celebrated National Biscuit Day with an afternoon of biscuit decorating! For those who wanted to get involved, we enjoyed mixing different coloured icings to make marbled patterns and popped some sprinkles over the top. Some family members did a bit more eating of biscuits than actually decorating them... so there was something for everyone! 😄🍪

Our Star of the Month! ✨Jane has only been with us a few short months, working on reception. In that time she has gone above and beyond. She does everything that is asked of her (always to a high standard!) and has moved from part-time to full-time!

The receptionist role is massively underestimated... so much goes into this job and you've done incredibly at every part of it.

We are so grateful for your hard work and positive can do attitude. Thank you so much for your commitment to the home.

Some recent birthday celebrations! Jason and Richard share a birthday and enjoyed their special cakes, homemade by the kitchen team, in the lounge together. Jason especially enjoyed cutting himself a slice! 🎂

Tina told Elsie she was 'looking very beautiful today,' so Elsie took a little selfie to see her reflection on Tina’s phone. She loved the photo and said, 'I feel wonderful now.' One of those special moments of connection that only takes seconds, but can mean so much. 🥰
