Happy Friday! The residents have enjoyed exercises this morning, seated Pilates with Jillates and parachute games with carers, Sarah and Tahseen 🙌🏻

The residents have been to the races this week 🐎 our Fizzy Friday Quiz with a twist had everybody laughing and moving, we all can’t wait to try it again! (And of course Ted knew exactly where to spectate from) - Thank you again to our wonderful volunteer, Penny, who puts together all our interactive, interesting and fun quizzes 👏🏻

Our newest resident, Margaret, has been settling in fantastically. Already having connections with the home, after her husband previously stayed with us, she said she “wouldn’t choose anywhere else” she’s sparked up quite the friendship with her new neighbour, Cathy - cheers to that! 🥂

Foxton Court had the pleasure of hosting The Bronze Arts Award pupils from Newminster Middle School Friday afternoon. The residents (and Ted!) were treated to the fab company of the pupils and a variety of entertainment including dancing, singing and playing a mix of instruments, it made for a very impressive afternoon! 🎷🎸

We were delighted to celebrate Burns Night 🥃🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿
An enjoyable evening spent together at the table, marking the occasion with a meal of haggis, neeps and tatties, good company and a traditional toast of whisky. Slàinte mhath!

Today we celebrated an amazing milestone by wishing our lovely Betty a happy 102nd birthday! 🥳 Spending it surrounded by her family and friends, we were very lucky to have a visit from the Mayor of Morpeth, Rachael - Betty was delighted to see you again, thank you for making her day even more special!

Elvis was in the building! Our fabulous tribute act, Mike Memphis, charmed and dazzled the residents on Tuesday. Rita was particularly starstruck after he kissed her hand saying “I’m never going to wash this hand again!” 😂 we all had a brilliant time🎙️✨
