NeuroClin becomes NeuroClnx

We're proud to announce that NeuroClin is now NeuroClnx (pronounced Neuroclinics).

Our new name reflects who we are today and where we're heading. We've expanded our clinical research services, introduced private memory and brain health clinic, and extended our reach to support more patients and communities.

While our name has evolved, our commitment remains the same. For more than 25 years, we've been dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care, advancing research, and improving access to innovative treatments.

New name.
Greater reach.
Same trusted team.

To everyone who has been part of our journey- our patients, research participants, partners and colleagues- thank you for your continued trust and support.

We're excited to begin this next chapter together.

Our volunteers play an essential role in advancing medical research.

Over 30 years ago, Susan and her husband Jim co-founded Niemann-Pick UK after their sons were diagnosed with the condition, at a time when they were told they were the only family in the UK affected.

What began as a search for answers and connection has grown into a national charity supporting families and bringing together clinicians and researchers to improve understanding of a condition now recognised as a form of childhood dementia.

The charity’s work, built over decades by families, volunteers, and supporters, has recently been recognised with the King’s Award for Voluntary Service- an honour that reflects sustained dedication and community impact. A wonderful example to us all.

Today, Susan is participating as a volunteer in a memory impairment clinical trial with NeuroClin.

Her involvement reflects a long-standing commitment to supporting research efforts that may benefit future generations.

Clinical research depends on people like Susan who are willing to take part in studies. Each volunteer contribution helps improve understanding and move the field closer to potential treatments.

We are sincerely grateful to Susan and to everyone who takes part in research- your involvement makes a real and lasting difference!

As Medical Director at NeuroClin, Dr. Jennifer Lynch plays a key leadership role within the organisation and is a passionate advocate for improving awareness, research, diagnosis, and care for people affected by dementia.

NeuroClin’s partnership with Alzheimer Scotland reflects a shared commitment to supporting patients, families, and carers while promoting the importance of ongoing neurological research and innovation.

Alzheimer Scotland continues to provide vital advice, information, and support services across Scotland, including its 24-hour Freephone Dementia Helpline for individuals and families impacted by dementia.

We’re incredibly proud to share that Olivia, our Accounts Assistant at NeuroClin, will be taking on the half marathon this Sunday as part of the Edinburgh Marathon on 24 May 🏃‍♀️

She’s running in support of Alzheimer Scotland, helping to raise awareness of a condition that impacts so many individuals and families in our communities.
Preparing for a marathon is a huge commitment, and Olivia has been putting in the hard work to get there. If you’re able to, please consider supporting her fundraising efforts.

At NeuroClin, we understand what a dementia diagnosis means for families, and building awareness, improving care, and supporting work towards better treatments are central to what matters to us.

NeuroClin is proud to have contributed to research on all of the currently licensed treatments for Alzheimer’s Disease.

Please support Olivia and Alzheimer’s Scotland, who on a daily basis make a real difference to those living with Alzheimer’s Disease.
