As I got a little older I found I sometimes struggled with my sleep. The dreaded 3am wake up did not set me up for the coming day! I found getting outside for 5–15 minutes of natural morning light within the first hour of waking is the ultimate free tool to optimize my circadian rhythm. ☀️ How it works☀️It naturally anchors your sleep-wake cycle, boosts daytime energy, and helps regulate your body’s cortisol and melatonin production. The Science-Backed Tips for Your Routine:Timing: Try to view natural daylight within 30–60 minutes of waking up.No Sunglasses: Skip the shades to let the photons hit your retina and send the “daytime” signal to your brain. No Windows: Step fully outside; indoor glass filters out the essential brightness needed to trigger your master clock.Cloudy Days Count: Even on a grey or overcast day, natural light is significantly brighter than indoor artificial light—just aim for 15–20 minutes instead of 5

Just taking a moment to check out my coloured toes (my 3rd ever pedicure) it made me smile. Small things … glimmers. Did you know your body is constantly scanning for safety? 🧠🌿While we often talk about “triggers,” glimmers are the quiet cues that help us regulate. They aren’t about “toxic positivity”; they’re about noticing the small, real moments that let your body exhale.Today’s Glimmer Challenge:Pause for 30 seconds. Look around your space and find one thing that feels soft, steady, or beautiful. Take a deep breath and let yourself really feel it.Healing doesn’t always have to be a big, dramatic shift. Sometimes it starts with noticing the light. wellness
