The team at Beech Manor recently surprised their long-serving Wellbeing Lead with a retirement party to celebrate this wonderful milestone.

Sheila has been part of the Beech Manor team for almost 14 years, supporting residents with their physical, social and emotional wellbeing. Throughout her time at the home, she has shown unwavering dedication and commitment. We are delighted to celebrate her incredible contribution as she begins this exciting new chapter.

Her laughter and vibrant personality will be greatly missed, but we're excited to see what retirement has in store for her.

Sheila, thank you for your loyalty and dedication over the years - we wish you a long, healthy and very happy retirement.

A massive thank you to Alex, Iain, and Andy, who went the extra mile to support a recent staff event by creating a wonderful selection of petit fours.

Our kitchen teams across all our homes work so hard every day to prepare nutritious, delicious meals for our residents. Having Alex, Iain, and Andy treat the wider staff team was a lovely way to showcase the high standards and dedication that run throughout our entire catering department.

We are so grateful to have such skilled, passionate people on our team. Thank you, team, for bringing your skills to the table and making the event so special 👏

Colin and Eddy from Torry recently enjoyed an afternoon at the local pub, where they challenged each other to a few games of pool and darts before sitting down for a drink and a chat.

Always up for a bit of friendly competition, the pair enjoyed spending time together doing something they both love. Trips like these give residents the opportunity to keep enjoying familiar places, favourite pastimes and time spent out in the local community.

A great afternoon out - and one we're looking forward to doing again.

🐟🍟 There’s nothing quite like fish and chips to bring people together!

Our Berelands residents enjoyed a wonderful visit from the fish and chips van this past week, bringing a much-loved British tradition right to our doorstep. For many, it brought back happy memories of Friday night suppers, trips to the seaside, and sharing fish and chips with family over the years.

It was lovely to see families joining us too, sharing lunch, catching up, and enjoying quality time together. Sometimes it's the simple things that create the best moments.

What a day! ☀️🎉

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us at Jesmond Care Home's Summer Fayre over the weekend. From games and stalls to great food, music and plenty of laughter, it was wonderful to see residents, families, friends and our local community coming together for such a fantastic day.

Our residents loved seeing so many familiar faces, enjoying the entertainment and getting involved throughout the afternoon. Thanks to everyone's incredible generosity, we're also delighted to share that the home raised over £3,000.

During a recent church service at Berelands, one of our wonderful residents Molly played the piano for everyone. Engaging in music and taking an active role in daily life brings immense joy, reinforces a sense of purpose, and keeps creative talents shining bright. We love celebrating the amazing skills, passion, and heart our residents bring to our home every day. ❤️
