A great team doesn’t just hit goals - they celebrate them. ❤️

There has been so much individual and team success to recognise at Cranford lately. We wanted to take a moment to shine a light on the team, say a massive thank you for the hard work, and highlight the incredible things we can achieve when we pull together. Well done everyone 👏

At the heart of great care are the relationships we build. Through friendship, trust, respect and shared moments, genuine connections are formed every day. No matter our age, these bonds have the power to enrich lives, create lasting memories, and remind us all of the importance of human connection. ❤️

Every step taken goes directly toward creating more special experiences, activities, and smiles for the wonderful people we care for every day.

Huge shoutout to everyone who walked, cheered the team on, or donated. 🙌

It’s the end of another working week, and our ladies at Jesmond Care Home know exactly what that means… cocktail time!
Today’s choice? Passionfruit Martinis, enjoyed in great company and with plenty of laughter.
Cheers to a fun-filled weekend ahead!

Ahead of the World Cup, residents from Torry Care Home visited a local Football Memories group, where one of our lovely residents, Nita, received a wonderful surprise.

Upon arriving, Nita was reunited with her old school friend, Stuart. As they chatted, they discovered they had attended school together and soon found themselves reminiscing about happy memories from their childhood.

Stuart mentioned that he still had photographs from their school days and asked if he could visit the home later to share them with Nita. A few hours later, he arrived with the treasured photographs, and the pair spent time together over a cup of tea, looking through the pictures and sharing stories from years gone by.

It was truly heartwarming to witness long-forgotten memories being rekindled and a cherished friendship being renewed. The visit brought so much joy to Nita and served as a lovely reminder of the power of reminiscence, connection, and the bonds that can last a lifetime.

Staff Appreciation Post
We’ve had lots to celebrate at Malin Court recently, from birthdays and entertainment to our recent Care Inspectorate inspection. And of course, we always enjoy marking these special occasions.

Behind every celebration is a great deal of preparation, planning, and hard work. We'd like to give a huge shout-out to our amazing catering team, who consistently go above and beyond to create beautiful Prosecco afternoon teas, delicious birthday cakes, and fantastic buffets that make every occasion even more special.

Their talents have become somewhat renowned throughout the Maidens area, and it's easy to see why!

Thank you to the team for everything you do. As always, it looks absolutely delicious!

The Cowdray Club team and residents recently attended “The Big Sing and Play” at Duthie Park, where more than 3,000 children from schools across Aberdeen came together to raise their voices as one.

Music has a wonderful way of connecting generations, and our residents thoroughly enjoyed soaking up the atmosphere, chatting with neighbours, and making the most of the sunshine.

Connecting communities through music and shared experiences is something truly special, and it was a real privilege to be part of such a memorable day. ☀️🙌🎶

Every month, our Jesmond residents pick a different country they want to explore through food. It’s a lovely tradition that gives everyone a bit of variety and something fun to look forward to. This month, Mexico was on the menu! 🌯

There really is nothing better than everyone coming together over good food. Our residents sat down to a brilliant spread of avocado salad, Mexican lentil soup, chicken & rice, beef burritos, and traditional 'capirotada' pudding. It was an authentic taste of Mexico, but more importantly, a great afternoon spent enjoying each other's company - good food, good laughs, and lots of memories made.

Special thanks to our kitchen team for always delivering an amazing selection of food!❤️

50+ years of marriage, and some traditions are just that sweet. ☕❤️

Meet husband and wife duo, Margaret and Eddy. Residents of our Torry home in Aberdeen, the pair have been married for over half a century, and they still thoroughly enjoy the simple pleasures in life - like their regular walk down to the local Greggs for a coffee, a cake, and some quality time together.

True love isn't always about the grand gestures; sometimes it’s found in the quiet, everyday routines and a shared sweet treat.

We love hearing about our residents' beautiful life stories and supporting the traditions that keep them smiling.

Encouraging song, dance, and reminiscence - our Jesmond residents absolutely loved their visit from the incredible Puppet Gang this week!

There is something so beautifully nostalgic about puppets. For many of our residents, the visit sparked fond memories of classic seaside shows, childhood television, and the simple joy of live theater. It’s truly amazing how a little bit of felt and a lot of character can instantly transport us all back in time.

A huge thank you to The Puppet Gang for bringing so much energy and nostalgia to our home!
