Someone asked me for filler last week. I said no — until we'd had a proper look. Filler's a brilliant tool, but it's not always the right one, and saying yes on request alone can mean treating the wrong problem. That's why I assess before I ever agree to a treatment. Message ANALYSIS for honest guidance first.

There’s one change in my skin that weight loss, skincare and good lighting have never really fixed.

And it isn’t the wrinkles.

It’s that thin, crepey, tissue-paper texture that can appear around the eyes, neck and lower face — especially after weight loss or as skin ages.

The frustrating bit?

It isn’t always something you can simply cream your way out of.

In the video, I explain what is actually happening underneath the skin — and the type of treatment that can help support it.

Watch to the end, then book a Face & Skin Analysis if this sounds familiar.

Brew, chat, honest advice. No guesswork.

I know it can feel tempting to message saying, “I think I need filler.”

But sometimes filler is not the right starting point.

Sometimes it’s skin quality. Sometimes it’s movement. Sometimes it’s volume. Sometimes it’s support. Sometimes it’s a bit of everything having a meeting without your permission.

That’s why I start with Face & Skin Analysis.

We look properly first, then decide what makes sense.

Can we talk about the face bit of weight loss for a second?

Not the clothes fitting better bit — that bit is lovely.

I mean the bit where the cheeks can look a bit flatter, the under-eyes look more tired, and the lower face suddenly seems to have entered the chat.

This does not automatically mean “you need cheek filler.” It means we need to understand what has changed first.

Sometimes it is skin quality. Sometimes it is volume. Sometimes it is support. Sometimes it is all of them having a committee meeting.

That is why I start with Face & Skin Analysis.

If this sounds familiar, message ANALYSIS for my booking link ❤️

You don’t need to know whether you need filler, skin boosters, polynucleotides or anything else before you message me.

Most people don’t know the treatment name. They just know something has changed.

That might be flatter cheeks, a heavier lower face, crepey skin, tired-looking skin, or that strange post-weight-loss feeling of “I feel better, but my face hasn’t quite got the memo.”

That is exactly why I offer Face & Skin Analysis. We start with what has changed, not with a treatment shopping list.

No pressure. No hard sell. Just a proper look and a sensible plan.

Message me ANALYSIS and I’ll send you the booking link.

Back from Rome. Notebook full. Clinic brain switched back on.

I’ve been away at an aesthetics conference and have come home with new skills, fresh ideas, and a lot to bring back into clinic.

But honestly, the biggest thing it reminded me of is this:

Most people don’t know what treatment they need.

They just know something has changed.

“My skin looks crinkly.”
“My make-up sits in all the lines.”
“I look tired all the time.”
“My face has changed since losing weight.”
“I don’t feel like I look like me.”

That’s exactly why I offer a **Face & Skin Analysis**.

We look at your face, your skin, what’s changed, what’s bothering you, and what options actually make sense.

No pressure.
No hard sell.
No making you feel like your face is falling apart.

Just honest, nurse-led advice and a realistic plan.

Message me if you don’t know where to start.

“Have you tried drinking more water?”

Yes, Susan. I’m hydrated.
I’m just not inflatable. 😂

When skin and facial volume change after significant weight loss, a water bottle may be lovely… but it’s not always the full treatment plan. xx

Does your skin feel like it has suddenly gone a bit… crinkly?
You know when your make-up starts sitting differently, your skin feels thinner, and your face looks more tired than you actually feel?
Yep. That.
Fine lines, crepey skin and tired-looking texture are really common — especially after weight loss, hormonal changes, stress, sun damage, or simply because skin changes as we age.
You don’t need to know what treatment you need before coming to see me.
That’s what a face and skin analysis is for.
We’ll look at what’s changed, what might be causing it, and what options actually make sense — whether that’s skin quality, hydration, collagen support, structure, skincare, or a sensible mix of things.
No pressure. No hard sell. No “you need everything doing”.
Just honest, nurse-led advice and a plan that feels right for you.
Message me if this sounds familiar.

Nobody warned me the post-weight-loss neck would have quite so much personality.

After significant weight loss, the neck can change in a few different ways:

skin can look thinner or more crepey

laxity can become more noticeable

the lower face can feel less supported

the underlying neck muscles can become more visible

And this is why I always say: don’t guess the treatment.
A post-weight-loss neck is rarely just one thing. Sometimes we need to look at skin quality, sometimes collagen support, sometimes structure, sometimes muscle activity — and often it’s a combination
The first step is understanding what has actually changed.
Message me NECK if this feels familiar.
