👩🍳💛 Celebrating Our Amazing Catering Team at The Manor 💛👨🍳
At The Manor, we truly appreciate every one of our colleagues for the dedication, kindness and care they show each day. Over the next few months, we’ll be sharing a series of recognition posts and Meet the Team spotlights to celebrate the wonderful people who make those little moments so special ✨🌼
We’re delighted to begin this new chapter by shining a light on our incredible catering team, who consistently show teamwork, creativity and a real passion for involving our residents in their nutrition and mealtime experience.
🌟 Miko
Miko joined us four years ago as a Catering Assistant and has been an invaluable part of the team. Over the past six months, he has shown huge commitment to learning and developing his skills, stepping in with confidence whenever needed. In April, he was selected to join our Upskilling Catering Academy and has since been promoted to Second Chef. We are all so proud of you, Miko — keep up the fantastic work and the tasty dishes! 👏🍽️
🌟 Donnie
A much‑loved member of the team for six years, Donnie brings energy, humour and a brilliant sense of fun to the kitchen. He has played a key role in supporting Miko in his new role and has been a great mentor to Josh, our newest Catering Assistant.
🌟 Josh
Welcomed to the team in April, Josh has already settled in beautifully and feels like part of the family. His enthusiasm and willingness to learn shine through every day.
🌟 Maxine
Our wonderful Head Chef, Maxine, has been at the heart of The Manor for an incredible 25 years. She has created countless memories through her high‑quality meals, themed events, BBQs, Fish & Chip Saturdays and so much more. Her dedication and creativity have shaped so many residents’ and colleagues’ stories over the years.
🌟 Mark
Last but certainly not least, Mark, Meallmore’s Peripatetic Chef, has been a huge support to our service in recent months. His guidance has helped develop the team’s confidence, skills and voice — empowering colleagues like Miko and Josh to grow and shine. Working closely with Sam, our deputy, he has also helped develop menus shaped by resident feedback, ensuring meals are meaningful, personalised and enjoyed by all.
