From today, the RSV vaccine is being offered to more people, with the programme expanding to include some adults aged 65–74 with certain health conditions who are at higher risk from RSV. 📢

RSV (respiratory syncytial virus) is a common virus that can cause serious illness, particularly in babies, older adults and people with certain health conditions.

The vaccine helps protect against severe illness caused by RSV. If you receive an invitation, make sure you attend your appointment. 📩

Bydd Iach - Hywel Dda - Be Well provide a range of free self-management health, well-being programmes and workshops if you have a health condition or for those who care for someone with a health condition.

Learn new coping skills which can help improve the quality of daily life.

Our programmes and workshops vary from single sessions of one and a half hours to programmes covering 7 weeks in community venues as well as online virtual sessions.

The sessions look at ways to help manage the effects of your health condition:
• Managing symptoms such as pain and tiredness
• Dealing with anger, fear and frustration
• Coping with stress, depression and low self-image
• Eating healthily
• Learning relaxation techniques and taking regular exercise
• Improved communication with family, friends and health professionals
• Planning for the future

Give them a follow and share with family and friends who may benefit from their courses.
