Richmond Villages

Richmond Villages Richmond Villages, part of Bupa, develop and operate award-winning retirement villages and care homes throughout the UK.

One of the pioneers in bringing the retirement village concept to the UK, Richmond Villages have been designing, building and operating their own villages since 1996. The company currently operates five luxury retirement villages located in Cheshire, Gloucestershire, Oxfordshire, Northamptonshire and Warwickshire. Construction of new villages at Witney, Oxfordshire began summer 2014, and has recen

tly started at Aston-on-Trent, Derbyshire. One of the leaders in the retirement living sector, Richmond Villages has established a reputation for the provision of quality service and care, and won numerous awards. The accommodation at a Richmond Village includes Village Apartments offering an independent lifestyle; Village Suites which come with an all-inclusive package to help with the daily chores; and a Care Home providing 24-hour nursing and dementia care. Richmond provide excellent facilities for their residents including a wellness spa with swimming pool and gym, hair and beauty salon, a library, IT room, restaurant and bar. Although being part of a social community, another important factor for residents when moving to a Richmond Village is the support and care services provided which includes a care team on-site 24 hours a day. In fact, a Richmond Village can have up to 150 employees including drivers, maintenance, gardeners, hospitality, housekeeping, administration and reception, and obviously the care team. Richmond Villages is part of Bupa, a leading healthcare provider offering a range of products and services, including health assessments, physiotherapy, health insurance and 280 care homes. With no shareholders, Bupa can invest its profits back into the services it offers so that it can continue to help improve health and wellbeing. Bupa’s purpose is:
Longer, Healthier, Happier, Lives

A blooming lovely day at Richmond Villages Painswick!🌻

We were delighted to welcome 17 pupils from The Croft Primary School to Richmond Villages Painswick for a very special intergenerational gardening club.

Our residents and young visitors spent a wonderful morning working side by side, creating bird houses, bug hotels and bird boxes, as well as planting seeds together.

The children took their handmade creations and planted seeds back to their school's forest area, where they'll help encourage local wildlife and continue inspiring outdoor learning for years to come.

A huge thank you to The Croft Primary School for visiting us, we can't wait to welcome you back again soon!💛

We were delighted to hold a wonderful dementia-friendly Tea Dance at Richmond Villages Witney💜

Residents, families and guests came together for a relaxed afternoon filled with music and dancing. The room was filled with people taking to the floor, tapping along to their favourite songs or simply enjoying a cup of tea and a friendly chat.

Creating inclusive, supportive spaces where everyone feels part of the community is at the heart of what we do.

Colin & Graham’s Big Day Out 🎥

Colin and Graham, from Richmond Villages Cheltenham, headed down to the ITV
This Morning studios in London for an unforgettable experience. The twins took part in a fun twin telepathy test live on air and chatted about their incredible journey through life side by side.👬

They brought charm and humour to the sofa and we couldn't be prouder of them.

Well done, Colin and Graham, you represented Richmond Villages Cheltenham brilliantly! 👏💙
