With autumn just around the corner, it’s time to get ready for flu season! 🤧

💉 Flu vaccinations at Castle Surgery will start from 5th October 2026.

We are inviting:
👩‍🦳 Patients aged 65 and over
🛡️ Patients under 65 who are in an eligible at-risk group

If you are eligible, please book your flu vaccination by contacting Castle Surgery reception on 01639 622050 or speak to a member of our reception team.

Getting your flu vaccine helps protect you, your family and those around you this winter. ❤️

💙 FREE NASAL FLU VACCINATION – AGED 2–4 YEARS

Castle Surgery is inviting parents/guardians of children aged 2–4 years to book their child’s FREE nasal flu vaccination (Fluenz).

👃 The nasal spray is quick, easy and painless, and helps protect your child against flu this winter.

📅 Appointments are now available to book.

If your child is eligible, please contact Castle Surgery to arrange an appointment.

If a family member or someone else regularly contacts the surgery or speaks to us on your behalf, please provide the following information:

Patient's full name
Name of the family member or representative
Family member's telephone number
Patient's signature confirming permission for this person to speak on their behalf

Please also let us know if any of your own contact details have changed, including your address, telephone number, or email address.

Keeping your records up to date helps us contact you when needed and ensures we have the correct information to provide you with the best possible care.

Please note that the surgery will be closed on Wednesday 24th June from 1:30pm for staff training.
💊 Knights Pharmacy will remain open until 5:30pm, accessible via their outside service window.
🚨 If you have a life-threatening emergency, please attend A&E or dial 999.
☎️ For urgent care that cannot wait until the surgery reopens, please call 01656 523650.
📞 You can also contact NHS 111 for health advice and support.
If you have difficulty accessing 111, please call 0345 46 47.
🏥 Community pharmacies are also open and offer the Common Ailment Service, providing free advice and medication where appropriate for common conditions such as coughs, headaches, sore throats, and diarrhoea.
