Please do not arrive at your appointment unwell.

Cancelling due to illness doesn't mean you're letting me down.  I'd prefer to lose one sale than risk illness and shut completely.

🚩When you think “it’s just a cold”, it could turn out to be far more serious for others.

Nobody enjoys being unwell, and although we can't shield ourselves from every risk, we can take steps to reduce the spread of infections—particularly in my clinic room, which is always warm and comfortable.

Arriving unwell leads to:

🚩Loss of earnings for myself and disruption to my home life.

🚩Risk of spreading infection to other clients.

🚩Interrupting planned appointments for others.

There is an immediate update to the sickness policy as follows:

“Should you have any type of contagious illness, please reschedule your appointment. Please note that we see people with suppressed immune systems, pre-existing health conditions and pregnant ladies. Some illnesses may be very harmful to them so please reduce the risk of spreading infections. Plus, if your therapist contracts the illness, the clinic is closed to everyone, which in turn interrupts planned appointments.

There will be no fee if you inform me ahead of your scheduled appointment. However, if you attend an appointment while exhibiting symptoms of a contagious condition, you will be required to return home and the full treatment charge will apply.”

A personal insight to your therapist (that's me by the way)

The advantage of being a Reiki Practitioner is that I can give Reiki to myself! Bonus 🙌

I could list the benefits until I'm blue in the face... but what has Reiki done for ME?

💓It helps me sleep when my mind is racing.
💓It calms me down when I'm anxious or worried (yes your therapist is human with human emotions).
💓It clears my mind, enabling me to focus, especially when I need to make big girl decisions.
💓It helps me to appreciate the beauty in every day things.
💓It eases my physical aches and pains (there's plenty of those!)
💓It sends lovely tingles and soothing warmth through my body (my favourite bit).
💓It has helped me "clear out" negative influences in my life and restored positivity.
💓It has nurtured me through grief - reiki is full of love.
💓It helps me become a better version of myself.

Reiki has become my "go to" whenever I need strength and support.
