Today was a real full circle moment for me 💚
Five years ago, I made one of the biggest decisions of my life, leaving Little Gems Preschool after 12 amazing years. It was a place filled with friendships, laughter, unforgettable memories, and a team that became like family. Leaving was never easy, but I chose to follow a passion that was growing stronger every day… helping people in a different way.

Since then, I’ve built my own First Aid business, become a First Responder working alongside the ambulance service, and now proudly work as an Emergency Care Assistant with Spark Medical.

Today, I had the absolute honour of being invited back to Little Gems to speak to the children about “People Who Help Us” and show them what I now do for a living. Standing there in front of those little faces, back in a place that helped shape so much of who I am, was incredibly emotional and something I’ll never forget.

Life has a funny way of bringing things back around. Sometimes taking that leap into the unknown leads you exactly where you’re meant to be.

Forever grateful for where I started, and so proud of where the journey has taken me so far 💚🚑🌈

Mental Health Awareness Week 💚

This week is a reminder that mental health matters just as much as physical health.
Checking in on someone, listening without judgement, or encouraging them to seek support can make a real difference.

If you or someone you know is struggling, please remember you are not alone and support is available.

In an emergency or if someone is in immediate danger, call emergency services-999.

Be kind. Check in. Listen. Support. 💚

Pollen levels can rise quickly during springtime, making asthma symptoms worse for some sufferers. Knowing how to recognise and respond to an asthma attack could make all the difference in an emergency.

‼️Signs of an asthma attack can include:
• Wheezing
• Pale, clammy skin
• Difficulty breathing
• Persistent coughing
• Trouble speaking in full sentences
• Feeling of a tight chest

⛑️First aid for asthma:
✅ Keep the person sitting upright
✅ Help them use their reliever inhaler, with a spacer device (if they have one)
✅ 1 puff every 30-60 seconds up to 10 puffs
✅ Call 999 if symptoms worsen or don’t improve

At Above All First Aid, we believe confidence saves lives. Knowing what to do in those first few minutes matters. 💚
