Calling all young carers (aged 15+) and young adult carers (aged 16-25)!

On the 18th August, enjoy a fun and unique opportunity to get up close with some friendly alpacas. Spend time in the outdoors, learn more about these amazing animals, and enjoy a relaxed walk alongside them.

This experience is open to young carers who are currently known to the Young Carers Service and who are able to take part in an approximate 45-minute walk with the alpacas.

It's a great chance to take a break from your caring role, meet other young carers, have some fun, and learn more about how we can continue to support you in your caring journey. Places are limited, so don't miss out on this fantastic opportunity to connect, recharge, and make some unforgettable memories with our furry friends!

Are you caring for a friend or family member? Lincolnshire County Council want to hear from you.
Unpaid carers make a vital contribution to the lives of family members, friends, and neighbours across Lincolnshire. There may be more than 70,000 unpaid carers in the county.

Lincolnshire County Council recognises unpaid carers as equal partners in care and is committed to ensuring carers can access the support they need. The Council is reviewing support for unpaid carers and recommissioning future carers services.

Carers First currently provides carers support in Lincolnshire, but future service arrangements are being considered as part of this process. Whether you currently use carers' services, have used them in the past, or have never accessed support, your feedback will help us shape future support for unpaid
carers in Lincolnshire. You can share your views by completing the online survey.
