"The Camellia Club is a happy place where family members can drop off their loved ones, knowing that they will have the best day that we can give them. We hope that this reassurance means that family members can enjoy a few hours of respite."

There is also a short stay option on Thursdays from 13:30 - 15:00, for £20 which includes coffee/tea & biscuits. There is a plan to introduce a third day in the future.

At any one time, our health can be affected in many ways with everyday worries, issues and concerns all having an impact on our wellbeing. Social Prescribing is a non-clinical, short-term service provided by the NHS that GPs and other Healthcare Professionals can refer people to who need help or a bit of extra support.

You could benefit from Social Prescribing if:
· you feel lonely or isolated
· you suffer with mild depression or anxiety
· you have financial, housing or employment worries
· you have caring responsibilities which you find overwhelming or are facing family or relationship issues
· you are suffering with a long-term condition and would like help and support to develop and achieve manageable health and well-being goals

Please note that the surgery will be closed from 1pm tomorrow, Wednesday 3rd December, for staff training. Please call 111 if you need advice while we are closed or, if you have a life-threatening emergency, please call 999.
