‼️Kinesiology tape can be a useful tool to help support movement without restricting it. 💙
It helps by:
✔️ Reducing discomfort during movement
✔️ Improving body awareness (proprioception)
✔️ Encouraging better movement patterns

When applying the tape:
🔹 Anchor = the first and last few centimetres of the tape. These are always applied with 0% stretch to help the tape stay in place and reduce skin irritation.
🔹 75% stretch = the middle section of the tape is stretched to around three-quarters of its maximum length before being applied over the area. This provides a stronger mechanical pull while still allowing full movement.

Remember, tape doesn’t “fix” the problem—it’s designed to complement treatments such as chiropractic care, rehabilitation exercises and activity modification to help you move more comfortably.

From 29 July, a lane closure will be in place along the A4 between Fir Tree Lane and West Berkshire Community Hospital.

The closure will enable SSE to install a new electricity cable to support the hospital’s new MRI scanner. At the same time, Thames Water will be carrying out work to provide a new water supply for the scanner.

This lane closure will result in increased traffic, so please be mindful when travelling.
