We’re all great at protecting our skin in the sunshine… but what about the muscles, joints and ni**les that are working overtime behind the scenes.

Summer means more walking, swimming, lifting, travelling and doing all the things you’ve waited months to enjoy. And that sudden jump in activity can highlight tightness, strains and those familiar aches you’ve been brushing off.

If something’s feeling “not quite right”, early support makes all the difference, especially when you want to stay active and pain free through the season.

Throughout, August, National Wellness Month, appointments are 10% off, with Ewa & Danielle giving you a chance to get ahead of the ni**le before it becomes the thing that slows you down.

Ben competing in his first ever major championship at the age of 22 has achieved amazing things.
Not only did he reach the final of the javelin competition, he finished eighth with a PB throw which meant that he participated in the whole competition.

Ben East - You should be very very proud of yourself. Onwards and Upwards now.

Did you know that javelin throwers don't reach their peak until about the age of 30! There is a lot more to see from this young man.

He has put the work in and you can see that and he has had amazing support from John Trower and Luke Angell - Javelin. Luke also gave him the support needed when he was a junior.

Did you know one of the types of patients we treat regularly are equestrians? 🐴

Riding puts a unique strain on the body and it's not just the falls we help with. we treat more common issues too.

If you're in the saddle regularly and something's been niggling, we can help.

One five-a-side match later...

Did you overdo it? Pull a muscle?

Fine all week, then one game at the weekend and suddenly you can't move come Monday.

Don't leave it another week before you get it looked at, the longer it's left, the longer it can take to put right.

Let us help, get in touch with the clinic and we'll advise how we can help.

With the Tour de France gripping everyone's attention right now, it's worth talking about what all that time in the saddle actually does to the body because you don't need to be racing through the Alps to feel it.

Cycling posture puts a lot of strain in predictable places: a rounded lower back, a neck craned up for hours at a time, and shoulders locked into position. Even weekend cyclists and commuters get the same stiff lower back and tight neck that professional riders manage constantly.

The good news is most of it is very treatable. Osteopathy helps loosen the tight areas, correct imbalances building up from repetitive posture, and get people back on the bike without that nagging ache creeping in every ride.

If you cycle at all, even just commuting, does your back or neck ever complain about it?
Want me to add this to the main document, or do a version aimed more at serious/keen cyclists vs casual commuters?
