Alaine and Alice have had a fabulous afternoon giving spine checks to the hard working trauma surgery staff at Royal Stoke University Hospital. We chatted to staff and gave many spine checks right in the middle of a trauma theatre. Alaine got to try on a lead vest that scrub nurses often wear for 4-5 hours at a time…gosh it’s heavy!! No wonder they needed us 🤔🤣 one highlight was using a drip stand as a spine stand! Makes ours looks so boring back in clinic now 🤣

We are back at the Douglas MacMillan hospice in October but we have room to fit in another one or two trips out… so if you’re planning some staff wellbeing at work, why not invite us in!
