This lady has come so far, when Mel shared her story it touched us all.
Mel has overcome so many health problems, and even came close to not being with us, but she is a fighter and is back on track, and getting her 6 and half stone award the week before was just brilliant.
The 10.30am group have welcomed Mel with open arms and we couldn't be prouder.

WOMEN OF THE YEAR WINNER
CHESTERTON 9AM

My winner is the wonderful Bev Wilson, and i adore this lady. From when she walked through my doors on 2 walking sticks, to crying at the new member talk because she had tried everything before, to now being over 6.stone lighter. No more walking aids, loves all the food you can eat with Slimming world and is at the gym every single week.
I couldn't be prouder of you my darling.
I think she was very shocked, but a worthy winner!!!

The gorgous Jasmine, was the winner!!!
Jasmine has lost over 7 stone so far, and her reason to lose weight was to have children as due to health she was told she might not be able to, but losing weight would help and her son is nearly 1 year old now. Jasmine stayed with SW throughout her whole pregnancy which is amazing, and when you look at that beautiful smile you can really see how happy she is.
Jasmine loves cooking and being more activite.

Women of the Year Bradwell 2026

The amazing Pat Walker!!!

Pat has done amazing and sharing her story today really touched my heart. She really doesn't give herself enough credit, but she is such a fun loving lady. At 84 years old, losing over 3 and half stone you truly are my queen. Pat joined because she wanted to lose weight, but also meet new people in the community, and Pat has made some amazing friends. Pat loves trying new meals, and shares such wonderful and funny stories about them. She truly has got a heart of gold and we are all so proud of.
