The recent events involving Legacy Funeral Directors in Hull are truly shocking and deeply upsetting. Our thoughts remain with all of the families affected during this incredibly difficult time.

It is important to remember that these actions do not represent the wider funeral profession, and they certainly do not reflect the values of Hopkinson Wootton Lovatt.

Funeral directors are entrusted with one of life’s greatest responsibilities. Every day, across the country, they care for the deceased with dignity, compassion and the utmost respect, while supporting bereaved families with honesty, integrity and professionalism.

At Hopkinson Wootton Lovatt, we remain committed to providing the highest standards of care, treating every person entrusted to us as we would our own loved one. Families place their trust in us at the most difficult of times, and we are proud to uphold that trust with respect, transparency and compassion.

The actions of one individual should never diminish the dedication and commitment shown by the vast majority of funeral professionals who serve their communities with care and integrity every single day.
