💛🕯️ WORLD SU***DE PREVENTION DAY 🕯️💛
Today we’re recognising World Su***de Prevention Day and helping to break the silence around su***de.
Talking openly and compassionately about su***de can help people feel less alone — and knowing how to respond when someone is struggling can make a real difference. 💛

💛 Su***de is preventable. Recognising when someone is struggling, listening without judgement and helping them access appropriate support can all play an important role. (Samaritans)
👂 Sometimes the most important thing we can do is simply listen.
You don’t need to have all the answers. You can:
💬 Ask how someone is feeling
👂 Listen without judging
❤️ Take them seriously
🤝 Encourage them to seek support
📞 Help them connect with appropriate professional support
💛 REMEMBER
A conversation could make a difference.
If you’re worried about someone, don’t be afraid to ask how they really are.
And if you are struggling, you don’t have to face it alone.
