The Lyme Trust (management, staff and residents) joined up with Newcastle-under-Lyme Borough Council, Staffordshire Police and NBC Green Team to do a litter pick in and around Stubbs Gate and London Road in Newcastle. Thank you to all involved. We are here to work in partnership to help the local community.

Civic Pride is back in Newcastle-under-Lyme this week.

From today until Friday, council teams, partners and community groups are out and about making a visible difference across the town centre.

Here’s what’s happening:

📍 Tuesday 18 August – Dunkirk
🕙 10am
Community walkabout and litter pick. Everyone is welcome and equipment is provided.

📍 Wednesday 19 August – Guildhall
🕙 10am–2pm
Community drop-in with council teams and partners. Come along for information, advice and support on local issues.

📍 Wednesday 19 August – Stubbs Gate
🕙 From 10am
Community litter pick. Equipment provided and everyone is welcome.

📍 Wednesday 19 August – Ironmarket
🕙 From 10am
Staffordshire Police will be holding a free bike-marking session at the Safe Space, opposite Caffè Nero.

Teams will also be carrying out patrols, visiting local businesses and improving public spaces across the town centre throughout the week.
