Instagram only shows you the results a patient has chosen to share…

And that’s exactly how it should be!!

We take clinical photographs to document treatments, monitor progress and help us provide safe, considered care. But those photographs belong to a real person who trusted us with their face, not content we’re automatically entitled to post.

Some of our patients are more than happy to share their results. Others want their treatment to remain completely private. Both choices are equally respected🙌🏽

So when you’re choosing an aesthetics practitioner, don’t judge their experience purely by how many before and afters you can scroll through.

Look at their qualifications. How thoroughly they assess you. Whether they explain the risks. Whether you feel listened to. And whether you trust them to put your best interests before a good Instagram post.

Your face, your treatment, your choice whether anyone else sees it🤍

Prescription-only medicines used in aesthetics are governed by strict professional standards and regulations. Before they’re prescribed, a qualified medical prescriber needs to assess whether the treatment is appropriate for you.

That assessment isn’t just about deciding if you want the treatment.

It’s about understanding your medical history, discussing the risks and benefits, making sure there are no reasons the treatment shouldn’t go ahead, and ensuring it’s both safe and clinically appropriate.

When a medical prescriber signs that prescription, they’re taking responsibility for your care from start to finish.

That’s why we don’t believe in shortcuts.

If one clinic can treat you straight away... why does another make you come back?

It can be frustrating, especially if you’ve taken time off work or travelled to your appointment. But for some treatments, that extra appointment isn’t about making life difficult, it’s about following the regulations that are in place to protect patients.

Certain treatments require a face-to-face or appropriate consultation with a qualified medical prescriber before they can legally be prescribed and administered. That process allows us to assess your medical history, discuss whether the treatment is suitable for you and make sure it’s being carried out safely.
